Batora: Lost Haven is an underrated gem that delivers way more than I expected. It blends fast-paced action and gorgeous visuals with a story that genuinely moved me.
Playing as Avril, a strong and complex female protagonist, felt incredibly personal. The emotional weight of her journey, especially how open she is with her fears, grief, and growth, hit close to home for me as a woman. It's rare to see a game explore emotional vulnerability alongside courage and power so honestly.
The final boss fights were challenging and rewarding, and the moral choices made me reflect more than I expected from an action RPG.
If you enjoy games with heart, rich sci-fi themes, and layered storytelling, Batora is absolutely worth playing, especially if you value strong female leads.

insanely good game and an insane story, extremely polished game with very rare bugs, multiple endings and choices truly matter. the game looks great and flows REALLY well, the voice acting for all the characters is surprisingly good, except for 1 (rose, she sounds like ai), very underrated.
with that being said, I have a couple of complaints, there aren't many rune options from what I encountered which makes this particular area feel undeveloped, the story is kinda complicated, it can feel underwhelming for some but, towards the end you will understand everything, and all will make sense.
the gameplay loop, while polished and flows perfectly, it gets very repetitve, as enemies become tankier and tankier, facing the mobs gets increasingly tedious, which feels like a cheap way to stretch out a rather perfectly lengthed game IMO!
thats all I can say about the negatives of the top of my head, I never expected to be interested in the story, let alone be attached to it at a certain point, props to the devs for making such a great game 8/10
the game is rather short in play time, around 7 hours for one ending, which imo you dont need to play more than once cuz by the time I finished I was bored of the combat, so ill just watch the other endings on youtube, with that being said, even if the game is really short, its worth its price, but fortuantly for us (not for the devs saddly) the game isnt the most popular so its getting discounts very frequently.
