bold look forward in a future that must become a reality, The Crust, is a point in time we are coming to age, children are we now. Great game

Great fun game that is in early access but feels much more complete than most early access games. The devs are very active with regular updates and frequent QoL changes. It is a bit of a factorio clone but with some new and fun different mechanics. There is a bit of a lack of documentation and the tutorial is still quite limited. But its not too hard to figure out if your'e familiar with the genre. Very fun and addicting. I'm excited to see where this goes and the further updates and polish it gets!

After a few hours start lagging as hell , FPS drops from 90 to 20-30 after 10 hours of progression . Kills all joy of this game .

I really like the premise of the game, and the gameplay is very fun (even though there are some rough edges).

Update #2: More annoying stuff that needs fixing: flipping between surface and underground recenters you EVERY time. When you're trying to solve a problem or layout issue this is wildly unhelpful. The thing is, that it is helpful in the early game but at some point you need to go the corresponding surface location and then this mechanic quickly becomes AWFUL. HOWEVER -> This game shows so much promise, it's an easy recommend -> just understand there's more work left to do. This is a review that will be updated. I REALLY wanted to like this game, but there's something about the pace of the tutorial/storyline that leaves it wanting. The speech is so slow and so very highly interuptive as you're exploring parts of the game. There's no thought in the pacing - especially for an initial play-through. It shows a lot of promise - but wow does it feel like I'm getting bombarded by a lot of talking all at once. And even that would be fine if the speech speed was a little more quick (or even configurable). But as it stands now, it needs some tweaking and it really detracts from the experience of the game. The other big issue, selection of buildings and units is clumsy. Sometimes I click (primary click) and don't get what I want. I don't understand it. Other times I'm trying to build conveyors and they're attached to seemingly previously selected buildings. Weird. I'm very much looking forward to it once these get ironed out. Also a couple of untranslated menus and screens.

Strangely addictive. Not normally attracted to management game but good visual, engaging story/campain (WIP).

The game runs well, but when you reach a late stage, it will drop in FPS greatly. I tried all the trouble shooting but nothing worked. Apparently its a bug that has to do with the drones, convayers, building, material, or all the above. In any case, a game running on 10 FPS is unplayable. Fix it please

Just started playing again after a year or so and am pleasantly surprised to see how many bugs they've fixed. Seems to me like they're serious with actually creating this game. It's a very fun and addictive game to play. Music is great too of all things. Graphics are great albeit some reports of lag with larger factories....Just like Factorio. Early access... always a risk. Always depends on the publishers. Can't remember what I paid $25.00 or $30.00 For me I've certainly already got my monies worth out of this game and Crytivo could fold tomorrow and I'ld still be happy with it. The good news is they've fixed several major bugs from whence I last played and reported last year. The drone response has become way better and my understanding of the game has improved. Also the graphics seems to be way better, more detailed. I've only had one bug so far and that was on a save. I accidently hit "Continue" while it was still saving resulting in a corrupt save file. Save always, save frequent. Especially in an early access game. I've read people reporting bugs in the later game. Usually involving scientists dying. They're still ironing that out I guess. Once that's done they'll probably start working on combat. It's nice because they're making quality of game play better before moving on to adding new features. I do seem to remember that's how your supposed do it. It's a very deep game that can be a bit frustrating during the, "Learning Curve" but very rewarding once you figure it out. YouTube helps but things keep changing so best to find recent videos. And always remember to mouse over all icons. Found the best tool-tips when I do that. Always listen to the guidance of the characters that pop up on screen. There's often more information there than you realize. Ok Director that's it. Now it's time for you to decide how important the moon is anyway. Cheers!

Game concept is amazing, but you can expect to have your save files stop working as your base and productions get larger. I could never suggest this game until that has been dealt with.
