It's a great game! If you like space games, you can buy it right away. You will not regret it. Great graphics, easy controls, a huge number of different buildings, where you will design your moon base and survive in space. You will have to build your production chains and develop your base to survive!

This is a mixed review.
If you play the game in Sandbox mode, it can be quite enjoyable.
But! If you attempt to play the story line, be prepared to scrap everything, and have to start over from either the beginning, or if you made specific saves at specific stages, maybe you can recover at one of those.
Any time a player has to go in search of "What triggers THIS event, so I can avoid it", things have gone terribly wrong in the story progression line.
I'm many, MANY hours into the current playthrough, and still can't even begin to think to start the Laser quest - there's just no way my infrastructure can produce anywhere NEAR the required resources in time.
That, and the system to bring in resources from Mobile Drillers? Horrible. You end up with a system that bogs down and fails, because you're over-loaded in ONE resource, and the others can't be refined.

Go search for infinite ore deposits mods and weight decrease for items. This will make your experience 1000 times more enjoyable. Playing default game will not allow you to feel progress within the game because you will be constantly running behind your digging sites when they run out just to rebuild them elsewhere. This core mechanic makes all upgrades meaningless since the more you upgrade your factories will only speed up time before you need to replace their placing (and buy all upgrades all over).
With infinite ore deposits you actually enjoy the game by building that nasty conveyor spagetti which will be viable until you decide to expand or improve things instead of game pushing you to do it. Gameplay itself is fine, I like the aspect of "ground" and "underground", not sure what's up with planet view though, I guess you can explore some places when you want to chill out from expanding your base but overall it's not something that I did during my game time except of activating research scans for science points. Space drilling units are definitely WIP at the moment, too much manual management required.
The balance of skills tree is... mediocre, if you take a look at a patch notes, it actually built based on when it was added to the game instead of logical placement, especially latest one's, that's why you will find "basic light lamp" way in the bottom of the tech tree (???).
Weight reduction mod will make contract deliveries so much more enjoyable and well balanced, it's crazy to get contract for 10k smart concrete and you can ship only 300/900 per shipment, you end up losing more money just on the shipment cost itself. Luckly game is relatively easy to mod, the only thing I didn't figure out is how to mod maximum camera distance under ground, I think it's locked because there is actual Z axis ceiling max, since it does work outside.
Campaign is new, there is a ton amount of improvements needed, especially with time limited missions. I skipped campaign at the start (ignored quests) and was just building and expanding, ended up having multiple short time limit contracts to fulfill because I moved further in the game than it was expected from step-by-step guide. Time sensitive quests should be at least 10x longer on the time allowance. Also, you can't skip cinematic at the start of campaign even if you have seen it (why?).
Anyways, if those two mods would not exist it would probably be negative review, but last save I clocked 30 hours and it's quite enjoyable experience. The last end game is performance issue when you have whole lot of factories and bots, but it is kinda same issue overall in majority of automation games. Keep working on the game, dev's, give players options to adjust game balance at least for custom sandbox and the reviews will become much better. (and make that underground camera go further out, damn it)

I played through the campaign from start to finish once. And after failing the final mission the first time, I can't bring myself to start a new one. It took me 25 hours to even complete it the first time. I love games like this, but I can't say why this one doesn't hook me enough to want to try again.
It was fun to play through and I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind 25 hours of gameplay and then ditching it, but for this reason I'll have to wait to recommend it.
Maybe it would help if everything went faster and the day didn't end so quickly.
I loved the story. And it's a fun game that I enjoyed playing. But the fact that every time I start a new campaign I stop playing after about an hour just because I don't want to go through the early tech tree again is why I say it's not recommended.

Decent game and actively being worked on still, but there are a few game breaking bugs at the moment.
I would wait for a few updates.

Not a good video game at the moment.
Maybe things will improve with 1.0 but can not recommend currently.
Issues
- I think the main one is that everything in this game is dependent on bots. They do everything from excavation to transporting goods to building things. The problem is it is quite limiting as you don't have many and there is no way (at least in the early to mid game) to build more. They are also really quite stupid, see below. So instead of being able to scale your build in a timely fashion you are constantly waiting on bots with a PUBG level of intelligence to do their thing
- AI is really quite bad and not customisable. All your building is done by bots in a manner quite unfathomable. There is a very basic priority system but it ignores this and does its own thing quite often. This would just be a bit frustrating except that missions are timed in this game and when your bots are deciding to tidy the place up rather than build your base or ship your stuff it really mucks with the progression
- modules (aka all your buildings) breakdown periodically and you have to repair them, this initially has be managed manually i.e. click on the warning, click on the building, click on the button to start the repair. Eventually you can research a tech that allows "auto repair" but even then it just means less clicking it still sends your bots off randomly to repair a building whilst your trying to do something else. I'm quite unsure why they included this in the game but it really just disrupts the flow of progression in a very annoying way. It doesn't add to the game at all
- research points are based on hitting mission/shipping objects and only last for a certain period of time so you are constantly chasing your tail to get your research points up and maintain them high enough. This feels quite unbalanced and researching things to build more things is quite sluggish
- oh and a minor one, the voice over/writing for the campaign play through was terrible, I muted it after like 3 minutes and left it off for the whole game
As I said this is an early access title and maybe they'll address some of the above prior to 1.0 but for now I would wait and check back later.

Wait till its more mature , nothing will make you madder than watching your workers die because your high priority solar panels are not being repaired by your drones while they fill a low priority shipment that you can not cancel or to watch earth get hit by an asteroid . The only way to report this bug is through discord which I refuse to use.
OH and the ACHIEVEMENT fail the laser gun event will really push you over the edge!
This issue has been here since release so there is no way DEV(S) don't know about it.

The Game in current state requires too much grinding. After 13 hours of play I'm producing the first advanced materials. Convoyer belts and and so are extremely expensive. You are forced to send basic materials out of base almost all the time and the price to send something out means that it is almost not worth it.
I have also tried the sandbox but the problem of running out of resources ( cause the mining spots have limited amount of extractable resources you have to build further and further into the cave ... which means you need longer conveyour belts which consts a lot of money later.
Reasearch is EXTREMELY expensive.
The Rare metals ( which you need in abundance in future does not even have a vein and you can only get them from demolishing the walls ) I have run out of them in a matter of minutes and now I just cannot produce any advanced materials. I'm basically stuck and I cannot progress in the game.
I would not recommend this game at this stage. There are just too many things that needs to be taken care of.

The game in it's current state is quite balanced and engaging. It was a very short period to become familiarized with the controls and game meta, although the one thing that I have found so far has been the ore ratios. I understand that this game is meant for people more accustomed to factory/resource management, however, there is room for a bit of explanation on optimizing your production ratios a little earlier on in the game so as to have a more balanced and efficient production line earlier on in the play cycle. I also understand that as this is an early look at the game in it's current state, that this may come in later on in the play cycle.
All in all, apart from that one caveat, the game is excellent in its current state. It is engaging in all aspects, and especially in the setup to when the story really kicks in.
