This shit is cash, co-driver mode? Tight! Career? Tight! The way it feels to drive? Tight!
I don't want to compare to games such as Dirt rally 2.0, but WRC10 is definitely a good cop, especially on a good sale

WRC 10 FIA World Rally Championship is a powerful entry in the long-running rally simulation franchise developed by KT Racing, offering a robust and deeply immersive motorsport experience for fans of the genre. As the official game of the 2021 FIA World Rally Championship, it celebrates the sport’s 50th anniversary with a wide-ranging package that blends contemporary racing with historical tributes. While it builds upon the strong foundation of previous entries, WRC 10 also introduces refined physics, expanded career options, and an impressive variety of rally stages that challenge even the most experienced drivers.
The most immediate strength of WRC 10 lies in its driving physics and stage design. Rallying is an unforgiving motorsport, and the game captures that intensity with exceptional accuracy. Each surface—gravel, snow, asphalt, mud—feels distinct and demands different driving techniques. Handling has been significantly refined from previous titles, offering a more nuanced and reactive feel. Cars are sensitive to weight transfer, throttle input, and braking precision, making every turn and crest a potential disaster or a triumphant moment depending on the player’s skill. Even minor errors in judgment can lead to devastating time losses, which reinforces the need for careful concentration and mastery of each course.
The stages themselves are one of the game’s highlights. Spanning 12 current WRC countries and featuring more than 120 special stages, the variety is immense. From the dusty, fast-paced roads of Kenya to the tight, twisty tarmac of Croatia or the icy corners of Sweden, each environment presents a different challenge. The design of the stages is particularly noteworthy—they are long, intricate, and rich in detail, often demanding memorization and complete reliance on co-driver pace notes to stay competitive. The game successfully evokes the real-world danger and beauty of rallying, pushing players to remain focused from start to finish.
In terms of content, WRC 10 offers more than just the 2021 season. The anniversary mode introduces a number of classic cars and historic events that span five decades of rally history. This includes iconic vehicles like the Lancia Stratos, Audi Quattro, and Subaru Impreza, as well as faithfully recreated stages from legendary rallies. These additions aren’t just cosmetic—they offer a completely different driving experience, as older vehicles behave in wildly different ways from modern WRC machines. The combination of classic and contemporary racing deepens the experience, giving fans a nostalgic journey through the history of the sport while still grounding them in the intensity of the current championship.
The career mode is another area where WRC 10 shines. It allows players to create their own team or sign with an existing one, guiding their progression from Junior WRC all the way to the top tier. It’s a comprehensive management system that requires players not only to race, but also to make decisions about staffing, vehicle development, sponsorship, and scheduling. This layer of team management adds long-term engagement and strategy to the already demanding driving. Combined with dynamic weather systems, evolving road conditions, and the constant pressure of competition, career mode can be deeply rewarding for players who enjoy both the technical and tactical aspects of motorsport.
Visually, the game looks solid, though it doesn’t push graphical boundaries as aggressively as some competitors. The lighting and environmental effects are excellent, especially in dynamic conditions like heavy rain or snow, where the road surface changes significantly and impacts handling. Car models are well-detailed, and damage modeling is functional if not spectacular. While the visuals are serviceable, the real immersion comes from the sound design. Engines roar authentically, gravel crunches under tires, and the co-driver’s pace notes are clear, precise, and absolutely vital. The audio team deserves credit for creating an environment that is as much about what you hear as what you see.
That said, WRC 10 is not without its flaws. Some players have reported inconsistencies with the AI difficulty, where certain rallies seem oddly unbalanced. Occasional bugs—like missing textures or audio glitches—can also detract from the immersion, though patches have addressed many of these issues since launch. Additionally, while the physics improvements are generally positive, they can feel a bit twitchy on certain surfaces or with specific cars, requiring a fair amount of tuning to achieve comfort. The user interface also feels dated in places and can be cumbersome to navigate, particularly in the garage and career menus.
Despite these shortcomings, WRC 10 remains one of the most complete rally packages available on Steam. Its dedication to authenticity, combined with an enormous amount of content and challenging gameplay, makes it a standout title for racing enthusiasts. It doesn’t aim to be an arcade experience—it’s a game for people who want to feel every bump, slide, and gear shift as they barrel down treacherous mountain roads. Whether you’re a long-time fan of the sport or a newcomer looking to understand what makes rally so captivating, WRC 10 offers a visceral, demanding, and ultimately rewarding simulation of one of the world’s most intense forms of racing.

first 50 Mins and enjoying it so far
only thing I'm not liking is the steering the steering doesn't match your steering wheel movement.
if you look at the steering wheel in pit view and move your wheel you'll notice the wheel in game does not match the wheel you use to control the left and right rotation axis is slower which is off putting because I like wheel movement to match my real time wheel movement.
but that out the way I definitely enjoying the game.
