Short and sweet, exactly what you would want for this price point.
The game plays like a flash game (ala Newgrounds), but managed to keep my interest from start to finish.
Premise: You need to solve a series of puzzles by finding items around the map, all while avoiding enemies.
The map is just big enough for you to explore without feeling too big to be tedious or too small to be boring. Avoiding monsters has just enough conflict: again, not too sparse to keep tension up, but not too tedious where you're constantly hiding. It is a bit too easy, but again, it's just there to add some tension while you search for clues.
The clues appear to be randomized, but once you beat it once, you'll know where to go/what to do generally, so replay value isn't too high.
Then again, for <$1, you'll likely only really want a single playthrough.
Nice little simple horror game with enough to keep it interesting for its short runtime.
