A really well made action hack and slash game! The story is interesting for people who don't have any prior experience with the league universe and great for league players with characters appearing not simply as a fan service. The unique power of Sylas is well implemented (stealing others' spells) and gives a fresh feeling to the genre. The artwork is beatiful and the sounds are great, although I wouldn't mind it if the game was voice acted as well! It's unfortunate that Riot froze the production of more spin off games via Riot Forge, cause the ones that came out are all amazing and add to the league universe.

A great game! If you want to fully experience and understand the story of Mageseeker, I highly recommend reading all the issues of the Lux comic, as Mageseeker takes place just after the conclusion of that comic. The story is solid and explores Demacia's history and its characters. Sylas in particular shines in this game, Mageseeker provides a lot of information on his backstory and motivations, and makes him into a three dimensional character. You actually get to see his development as the rebellion progresses. Likewise, the other League characters are well rounded here, you get to learn a lot about their motivations regardless of the side that they stand on, and reflects how each character is a product of their environment.
The art is phenomenal as well, and the music for each boss fight complements the atmosphere and story.
The gameplay however isn't perfect, it's good enough but it can feel a little clunky at times. If you're expecting gameplay on par with something like Hades, you aren't going to find it with Mageseeker.
Overall, Mageseeker shines most in its story and art direction. If you want to learn more about the foundations of Demacia and its characters, or enjoyed the Lux comic and want to know what happens next, Mageseeker is for you. The price is a little steep for the length of the game, so I absolutely recommend getting it on a sale.
