Going to give a quick answer covering overall thoughts and a longer answer going deep into each season. Quick answer: For 5 games for this price, it is 100% worth it. Not only for the quantity of stuff you get, but for it's quality as well. Sure, some of the games are better than other, but there are some classics in here that are worth experiencing. It's a fucking steal if you ask me. Long answer: -Season 1 is a classic and a must play for anyone even remotely interested in video game storytelling. The emotional roller coaster of it, Lee/Clementine's relationship, the side characters. This game has a pretty strong story, even predating The Last of Us, which is the turning point when video games becoming more serious with storytelling. If you haven't played Season 1, please do so. -Season 2 is a bit messy, but still has a very effective and engaging story. Characters are endearing, some bonkers twists and earthshaking developments. Some of the toughest decisions in the whole series come from this season. Worth playing. -A New Frontier isn't great, but I think does have more positives than negatives. Javi is a good character and his relationship with Clementine does make this season work for me. However, it's clear the the writing was rushed and not given the care it should have been giving. It's worth a play, but I don't think I see myself replaying it. -The Final Season is a fucking banger dude, holy shit. Endings can really shape how people view art and it was really important that they get it right. They absolutely nailed it here and I am arguing with myself if it surpasses the first season. I may be over hyping it due to recency bias, but it was a knockout ending and I was weeping at the end. If you were turned off by A New Frontier, please check this one out. -Michonne isn't good. Even with the duds, the highs are so fucking good, that it is worth getting through them.

Strong story, characters are diverse enough to find some characters that you can relate to, and decisions actually mean something. Sometimes decisions can make no sense, but most of the time you can reason out that an action will also bear a consequence.

Game’s a solid 10/10 — storytelling, atmosphere, emotional weight — all phenomenal. But being stuck with some of the most unbearable people? Painful. Mike, Bonnie, Arvo, Ben (gravity assist), and Gabriel somehow survive just long enough to ruin everything. No option to deal with them — just endless whining and betrayal. One bullet and the noise would be gone. Clean. Peaceful. Therapeutic. Still love the game, but I wish I had that choice.

This isn't just a game — it's an emotional rollercoaster. The Telltale Definitive Series brings together all the seasons in one place, letting you experience Clementine’s journey from beginning to end with updated visuals and improved performance. What makes this series unforgettable is the storytelling. It's not just about zombies — it's about people, relationships, impossible choices, and how you survive in a world where nothing is certain. Every episode ends with that gut-punch feeling, and you’ll constantly question whether you made the right call. The voice acting is superb, the comic-inspired visuals are beautiful, and the pacing makes you binge it like a Netflix series. There are few games that make you feel as much as this one does. You’ll laugh, cry, and probably pause a few times to stare at the screen in disbelief. 🎭 If you love powerful narratives, emotional characters, and decisions that haunt you — this is a masterpiece that shouldn’t be missed.

Finished the remastered version of the entire the walking dead telltale games... -bought the game since April 11th (before my birthday [April 12th] -finished season 1 on April 16 -finished season 2 on April 22 -finished a new frontier on April 29 -finished the final season on June 12 -finished michonne on July 9. Plus, that game was worth it on sale for 12 dollars, which are really good price that included bonus features inside the definitive menu. 11/10

Great game with an interesting plot, of course the decisions made do not change it much, and some gameplay moments on the reaction are quite stuffy, but this is not critical.

Much like the comics/show, the game is more about human morality, and what you're willing to sacrifice to survive than it really is about zombies. Some of the choices have such heavy consequences, and some have absolutely none at all, so I really enjoyed that they took away the rewind mechanic in the Definitive Edition and don't let you save scum- You have to live with your choices. I think it made everything feel more drastic, even if it wasn't. It worked out super well here. They also did a really, really great job on the characters in every aspect- Visual design, unique personalities, character development, and depth. All of the characters felt like real people, and not even the background characters felt flat. I think it's hard to give that much attention to detail in any medium, so I was really impressed by that. ( Especially loved my goat, Kenny!! And, Louis was great, too! ) There are some small glitches, but I only encountered them in the Final Chapter, and mainly on the eyes. A few times Clem's eyes would get stuck shut, and I'd have to reboot, but I think this only happened twice? Sometimes the whites of the eyes would also look completely black, or the eyes of secondary characters would look very glassy and dead, like they weren't rendered properly. I understand though that the team who compiled the definitive edition was using an engine they had never worked on before, so it is what it is. Nothing at all game breaking, just mildly distracting. Only other glitch I encountered was occasionally (also in the final chapter), the zombies you were killing would completely vanish, leaving Clementine stabbing at the air. The UI is also different in every single episode, which is weird at first, but you get used to it. The chapters of the game were put out between 2012-2018, so I'm sure the staff changed hands & their preferences probably changed with them, but I wish they could have had them all match up for the definitive edition. Again though - just mildly distracting. This game was so wonderfully done overall that it makes me seriously grieve for the old Telltale, knowing we probably won't ever get a game of this caliber ever again. Hopefully new Telltale will revive some of their older titles, but I think its unfortunately only downhill from here. This is genuinely like the Holy Grail of Telltale games, it is absolutely amazing. True gem of a game, I would have easily played 20 chapters more.
