I really enjoy Kart racing games and I think this is a wonderful addition to the genre.

Nice boat racing game. Raccommended if you like arcade games like Riptide Gp, Hydro Thunder etc..

[h1] Here arrives a boat racing game with no depth [/h1] There are no waves or anything close to believable water physics. Felt that to be disappointing. At some point you have to question how much water differentiates Riding Seas from any other random racing game. It stands far below any possible competition. A mobile game like Riptide GP is leagues ahead. And that includes better handling, deeper mechanics and a cleaner and fully working UI [i] SCORE:4/10 [/i]

Great ride :) These cute colorfull low poly graphics took me back to Micro Mashines times. Carreer mode, lots of fancy boats and arcade gameplay. I really enjoy time in this game :D It's a nice title to grind on your own and play with kids and friends.

Go Buy :-) A wonderful game to play solo or with friends ! The cartoon look and low poly environments are really nice to play through. Well optimized for any PC, even the lightest configs. The input delay is really good. A lot of boats available with pop culture references. Fun sounds and easy to very hard tracks. Frequent patches from the devs.

Riding Seas is a simple racing game on boats, however the only way it really makes use of the water, seems to be that you need to dive below obstacles sometimes. You can/need to jump too sometimes, because of the way courses are built or to be able to take shortcuts. Otherwise it is a bit floaty, but not enough of a difference to really feel like its much different from normal street racers. The game itself starts off without the option to change the resolution or turn on a windowed more or anything. Huge downside for me, I like my window and hate fullscreen. Secondly the games audio is all sorts of wonkey. SFX changes all kinds of things, however even if you turn it all the way up, you barely hear any motorsounds, while the menu will blast your ears off. Incredibly unbalanced audio at that. So to be able to enjoy this without giving damage to your ears in the menu, you will drive a motorboat, without hearing any motornoises. The game also seems like it would want to be a funracer, without actually being a funracer. There are no items, which makes it pretty weird to play, because it only uses a boost based system, which doesn't really need much input from the player. It also starts of waaaaaaay too easy, which makes it boring without any items until you get to the harder levels. The later cups get pretty hard, but mostly because you won't have enough money to buy better ships if you rushed through all the cups first try. Though I will say, that the last 3 cups are more of a challenge, even with a fully upgraded and bought boat. So all in all, the game doesn't let you customize, is mute, boring to play, since there isn't that much going on aside from some traps. And while it looks and feels like a funracer, its a racer without any additional powerups or "fun" mechanics added to the monotone driving through the easy tracks. The later tracks are better, but also have these instakill traps that waste sooo much time that it simply says "get hit by it once and you need to restart to get first" that makes it harder, but really only feels annoying imo. Its also got camera glitches if you drive near walls, which is very disorienting sometimes and because you need to dive below bridges in some levels, you can't see whats coming in front of you until after you've passed it. I can't really recommend it, I quickly did all the cups, farmed a bit of money inbetween to get the better ships and have no desire to keep on playing it after that.
