Well, i like this style of game.
As far as i think, the game is very good in this kind of style [Immortal ...etc.]. i wish the developers will make game better as the title Immortal. i want more about cultivate stuffs.
In addition, the Developers need to make a better tutorial. Also it is quiet hard for me. i had to restart few times because of the new acquired tech, stuffs.
One more thing, the game is slow even i already forwarded speed but it is still slow as i think.
Nice game 4/5

Its very rough and unfinished. The game needs more development and better language comprehensibility to make it playable. I wish it was in English and not half English.

It's a really fun game but still quite buggy. When I spawn monsters they go to one point on the map then stop moving and cannot be killed by the archer towers. That would be OK, but the monsters cause major lagging until the game is reset. The game also starts to lag at around the 6th level upgrade, it can be fixed for a bit by restarting. There are also several areas where text goes past the bottom of the text box but the box does not allow scrolling. The English translations and tutorial could also use work. The game is pretty user friendly and intuitive but some parts like updating your main temple or getting blessings are very confusing. Once they get the lag and bugs fixed it will be a very good game!

The game has so much potential, but even though its after the 1.0 release, as of this review it's very much unfinished. I know localization usually comes last but the degree of items that are still largely untranslated is mind blowing for a game that is supposed to be finished and released to a Western audience, some items are manageable because either the title or description have been translated, but some things remain completely in their original script. Then there are the bugs. I haven't encountered anything too serious just small inconveniences. I've been sitting on this title for a while waiting for it to finish its development. I'm still waiting. The biggest not a bug related issue that I have though is still that there are only three save slots available, I don't see that changing so I feel its important to know before you buy.
TLDR; I really want to recommend this game for those who love city builders, Wuxia, or god games... you can still probably get hours of entertainment from this game but its just not finished yet, especially if you're an English speaker. I look forward to it's completion.

It's interesting, there's plenty of good here. There's a lot of potential. The tutorial leaves some things to be desired and it gets a bit wall of texty at times.
I'd completely missed that decor also gives attributes above the standard 4 so that could be clearer.
I'd also like to see some sort of overlay showing where my stability etc was so I know where's best to place houses.
UI for selection and the mouse pointer is a little off at times but deal with able.
Positive experience though. Music slaps. Looking forward to seeing where this goes next.

In summary: Promising, charming, but not yet ready for English release.
Detail: While enough of the Chinese text has been translated to make the game playable, much still remains. Some text being arranged vertically means a significant UI redesign is probably needed to convert the game to horizontally displayed languages. They may or may not have any intention of doing so.
Bugs: A persistent bug moves the contact point of the mouse cursor away from the cursor image (or visa versa). For such a simple thing, it's very game-breaking to have to spend many long seconds fiddling around trying to find where the mouse pointer actually is for every single click you hope to make.
For the record, I would still look forward to playing it fully when the game is ready.

After nearly 90 hours into this game here are some of my thoughts:
The game is great, but with too many unfinished work and updates.
The music is nice, but after some time you will want to turn it off.
The people is cute, but the AI is made very poorly creating many type of bugs.
The map is bad, can't remove mountains, landscape is limited very difficult to build perfect town.
The number of people is capped at 180, didn't find anyways to go pass that number, and when it comes to late game it is far from enough.
The language i set is Chinese, but there are still item/technology/interface showing in English.
The system becomes more and more lag when you are playing, optimization need to be done better.
Lastly as of now there is no way to actually win the game, after you have built everything and research all technologies there is pretty much nothing left for you to do.

I share lots of sentiments with others who have reviewed so far. It's charming, it's cute, it's a little quirky, but it's not really good enough.
The graphics are fine, they're nostalgic of older 'build and get worshipped' games while keeping a smooth experience with a nice style. But that's all it really has going for it.
The tutorials are boring and unclear, not too surprising considering the translation errors are noticeable (but again not really 'bad'). After you think you know what you're doing, the confusing gameplay turns into low intensity gameplay, which is fine for a while until things spiral real fast and you're not really in a position to find a good way to fix it thanks to low info. Which I don't really say lightly, since a lot of info is thrown at you at once and you have to really dig through to find what is useful and what is just part of the aesthetic.
It's not really engaging enough to excuse the bugs, I had no idea how to save or if my game had saved recently unless my screen suddenly froze every so often. There's no real sense of doing a good or bad job, and going through the game menus was constantly frustrating.
Again it's fine, it scratches the itch of civ overlord management for a little bit, but personally it just doesn't seem right that this is released to the public just yet. With a bit of investing into figuring out how to best play the game, I wouldn't regret buying this on sale.

A mix of Banished, Amazing Cultivation Simulator, with just a touch of Caesar 3. The game has a lot of depth, but it can't be seen from the surface, and you pretty much have to figure out things for yourself. Some parts are not translated yet, but i didn't really feel it hindered me, but i can see how it can bother others. The game is slow paced, very stylish and it doesn't hold your hand. There are systems hidden within that you'll have to explore yourself (how the godly powers work, how getting in the favour of other deities work, how the decoration and building uprade system works, and who know what else, i just scratched the surface). Overall it's a chill city builder that is not as punishing as something like Banished, but it's still possible to screw up and have half your population starve to death. It doesn't have the polish yet, but in my opinion it's well worth the price. As long as you know that you'll have to work a bit to bring out the most from this game.
P.S. somebody mentioned in another review that designating trees to be cut down doesn't work. It works, it just takes a lot of time (like everything in this game). You can use godly powers to clear out large areas, but you have to befriend other deities to do that.

I played the demo during Steam Next Fest for like 40 hours. They seem to have addressed some of the stability issues with the early access release, the game no longer crashes for me so far. They added more English translations compared to the demo version, and there's now an in-game option so the monster nests don't overwhelm your kingdom.
This game is like a rough gem in the making, it reminds me of Banished but with a Chinese wuxia spin on it. I feel like the game has more content than Banished, even on the Early access release version, and hopefully they will add more content during early access. But the game definitely lacks the polished finish of Banished, if you're looking for a more polished game maybe better wait for end of development.
