Not currently sure how I feel about it. Its a Neat idea but needs some work.
What I like:
- The ability to customize your deck on the go. Your main deck is like 3 melee & 1 healer but they're running melee and flying? Time to swap out one of your melee for a ranged unit when you can.
- Tier system allows you to 'upgrade' your deck once you get going.
- Gear allows your units to shine in more unique ways, buffing them how you want/need.
- Tab lets you grab your units from anywhere in the world, so you're not wondering where the hell that one archer is at, nor needing to waste time making a box every time.
What I dislike:
- Heroes largely appear to be a stand-in, just skills for your Warchief, nothing special beyond that I feel.
- Weird initial hotkeys. Used to playing RTS & Moba so QWER tends to be your abilities while A is reserved for attack move, least on a standard QWERTY keyboard anyway.
Beyond that, it has the potential to be interesting, it may be able to compete with similar Moba/RTS games like Airmech, but only time will tell.
One of those times I wish a 'Neutral' Review options was a thing.
