I really enjoy this FPS roguelite. It's builds help it fresh and diversity.

This game has one big flaw for me that I wished someone would have mentioned. The flaw is finnicky UIs and menus. There will be a lot of times you accidentally select the wrong thing because the UI is atrocious. I literally just blind picked a perk for my whole run because the game put a window in front saying "Hey, here's what these do. Hold A to close." I press and hold A but it doesn't close. It selected something in the background and IDK what it even was because the window that refuses to leave was blocking me from reading any of it. The window was able to be closed after I got screwed over by the game. 1/10 There's no excuse to have a game fight against the player like that and it's inexcusable that such a flaw has gone unacknowledged. Lots of other games had similar issues but those actually patched it out very quickly. Until that patch arrives, save your money. This will only be frustrating to play. Also shame on the other players for pretending like this isn't a huge glaring issue.

Lack of content. The game needs more enemies, more maps, more bosses.

An FPS that feels like it's inspiration is MegaMan! -BUT, in very good ways. The controls are flawless, and let's not even talk about how smooth this plays, it's absolute butter! I will come back and add more [to this] in the near future. I highly recommed this game. 13 out of 10 -Great Job Devs!!!! TONS OF REPLAY VALUE!!

Overall the gameplay loop is great but if i had one complaint it's that the most crucial "gimmick" of the game, the Mod Extraction of gun is locked behind the upgrade menu, meaning you actually get to the main game after 1 or 2 runs. While it can help the players to not be overwhelmed i find myself feeling like the game is lacking in the first 2 runs before i got the Mod Extraction. If i haven't watched a run before i wouldn't have known about the gimmick. TLDR: Good game but the Mod Extraction upgrade should be unlocked at the start.

Bought this game back in who knows when, when it was in Early Access, played for half a hour, and forgot about it. Found out it got released recently, and it consumed several days of my life. Still didn't unlock everything. Good stuff!

Pretty fun game. It reminds me of a first-person megaman game. Runs really smooth on my 1070 with high settings.

The game is honestly a Blast, both for Casual and Speedrunning. I have been speedrunning the game for a while now and outside of Minor bugs that are being fixed quickly there isnt anything noteworthy in the Negative side. The Dev's are very responsive and active in the Discord, Patches come out at a regulare Pase and overall the community is also really friendly and fun to hold conversations with :)

Its actually silly how much better this game is than all the other games trying to do the same thing. I've played 2 hours so far. It's all ready been added to my favourites of all time list. The animations are charming and they have a unique one for just about everything. The gameplay takes the best parts of doom and ties it with a simplicity of controls that is so refreshing. They made the complexity in the moment to moment threat management and the choices you make. Not in the player having 38 different things that they can do in combat. I'm so grateful for that. The sound design is clean. The controls and menus are well done. The development you experience as you get better and face harder and harder challenges feels perfect to me. Meaning the way the game teaches you is really well paced and never feels like it's holding your hand. There are secrets to find. There is just SO much right here. Looking forward to editing this review when I have played more so that I can continue gushing about what I am sure is going to be a game that gets better and better.

Fun FPS roguelike with a lot of inspiration on Megaman, down to the fact that you can absorb the powers from bosses and equip a different "suit" which gives you new skills. There are also metroidvania elements, where you unlock powers and in subsequent runs you use those powers to traverse new paths and find secrets. The game also strikes a good balance between vertical progression and horizontal progression. Vertical - literally more power: you can increase health, shields, add more affixes to weapons, increase their rarity, etc. Horizontal - new ways to play: new weapons, grenades, abilities, perks, etc. But be aware that the runs can be LONG (the first time I reached the last boss, it took me 1h30min) and it's not possible to just save freely and leave at any moment, only in key transition moments like between floors or after killing bosses. The interval between those save points aren't super far off though, I'd say it's between 12-18 minutes depending on how you play. Still a very good game thouhg, and very recommended if you're looking for a solid FPS experience.
