I have yet to finish this game but it leaves a positive first impression. There's an interesting idea here about a fantasy world coming into conflict with our Earth. The combat is a standard turn based JRPG system, but from what I can tell from a quick glance at the guide, there is a fair bit going on in the combat system, plus a friend of mine has given the game a lot of positive feedback. I will update this review with more details later when I have played more.

I really like the instant strategy skills in combat that allow you to make small group buff and debuff changes.
You can adjust the enemy stats from -15% to +20% as a custom difficulty setting in the main menu options at any time.
There are a bunch of really nice quality of life features and you can use a controller to play.
It's a bit show text heavy for my taste, but if you're interested in heavily developed world lore and don't mind seeing some default assets that you may have already seen in other games then you should check this hidden gem out.

A solid, huge RPGMaker game. Lot's of quests, secrets and a good variety of enemies.

This is one of those cozy JRPGs that you play to destress, or when your internet goes down for a week
Combat is fast, smooth and dynamic and you're given a fair amount of freedom to explore the world.
The plot's not the most innovative thing in the world but it manages to handle the idea of a fantasy world crossing over with Earth with a lot of tact and that idea fuels a lot of its more interesting setting points.
The humor is really on point between the characters bantering back and forth between each other like close friends and the narrator snarking at you for every cupboard you click in vain.

Oof. this rpgmaker bundle I bought was a mistake. Apparently the god rpgmaker games people realized enough that they didn't need to be bundled.
I Troll steam for RPGmaker games pretty regularly, and for a long time, I found some really good games doing this. There are good RPGmaker games out there that people put tons of love and effort into, and had the chops to make both the turn-based combat, and storytelling in those games a genuine joy to experience.
This ain't that, fam. I've had more fun playing free games in this engine and this costs... You're shitting me, right? Fuck, I should've gotten to this mess sooner, getting this one refunded would've actually been worth the time.

Overall a very enjoyable game.
I can see a lot of effort in the world building and details of each town.
It also features interesting dialogues of your party.
What's best to me is it has difficulty slider, so people who just want a story can still enjoy it without a lot of level training.
Totally recommend this game to whoever enjoy retro rpg.

Great game. Took me way more than 40 hours. Certainly well worth the money.
A lot of good puzzles. And a very lot to do. Many sub quests.
To the credit of the developer - they always responded quickly when I posted a question here.
The only con I found is that i got lost a lot and in the end had to buy the hint book as I truly needed to see the maps.
I recommend this game.

2D RPG game - old school graphics and game play. Mix of modern and old themes - e.g. computers and tvs are common, but battling is with swords and mages. Excellent mix.

I love how reality is brought into a fantasy world. It's so fun seeing banks run by dragons with huge ogre bodyguards :D
I Love the detailed history (Read from the books in the school) which add so much to the immersion of the game. It's magnificent story telling :)
About the characters, i'm only 4 hours into the game and haven't met all the characters, but from the choice of weapons given i think i'm in for one interesting adventure! (And i so love Sarah and her orcish swears. Hilarious! lol)
The initial battles were kinda on the challenging side. I'm playing normal (zero bonus/reduction to enemy stats) and i felt i had to go out of my way to circle around monsters in fear of being KO'ed or having to use lots of potions/mana (again since i just unlocked the ability to learn new skills, it might get easier from now on. And you can also decrease the monster stats from the menu options, so it isn't a big deal.)
If you love witty humour and an immersive story-telling experience, I definitely recommend people to try this game out.

Update: 30 hours in and I think I'm at the half way point. Definitely loving the story and the scale of things. As for the combat difficulty, it's actually easy and fun when you know the right spells/skills to learn and use. (Definitely keeping
Kira
forever in my party)
Also, major spoiler
Code 52672
^.^
-------------
Update: Completed every side quest, secret boss, and found all the endings (Glad I bought the Strategy guide, as there were so much to keep track of, it would've been extremely tedious without it). I must say, i'm not a fan of multiple endings, but this game sure made defeating the last boss multiple times worthwhile lol. I kinda like the
official ending more than the happier one
, as it had more realism and made the groundwork for further progression. Absolutely loved the story and awaiting for the continuation of this epic. <3
