This game is so much fun! Such a simple idea, but such a difficult game! I'm loving it, and hoping to get some top 5 times on the leaderboards again. DEATH TO THE SPACE WORM!

A nice and challenging game that have very strong Jump King vibes with new ways to boggle your brain around every corner.
It feels real good once you start getting the hang of your legs, but it's no running start that's for sure!
I started out with keyboard but found that it was way better with controller. This game is all about wrapping your brain around the obstacle and how you wanna sequence it and that was just so much easier with controller, but if you want a real mind boggler then try it out with keyboard!
In summary I would warmly recommend this to anyone with a little bit of patience and a love for challenges! It's well worth the price tag!

Hopping with your legs across well designed levels with unique mechanics is very fun! Unique movement system unlike anything else I've played, and feels really rewarding to get to the finish line

This game is a lot of fun! The platforming is challenging but never feels unfair. Every time I get frustrated it's mostly because of my own terrible actions, but it has that feel of wanting to have 'just one more try' to get past obstacles that leads to having a load more attempts! Definitely worth checking out!

I have played some games of a similar genre before, like pogostuck and getting over it, but hoplegs is the only one I ever came back to after putting the controller down. If that's not a ringing endorsement, I don't know what is. It's my favorite game in my least favorite genre
If you dislike those kinds of games, this one is still worth a look. It's a good introduction to the genre. If you do like those kinds of games, you'll love this one, because make no mistake, it. is. HARD

I can't even count the amount of times I've closed the game on 2 hands anymore. But I keep coming back for more... It's so satisfying when you finally beat a level. There's also cute skins you can unlock to customize your character.
I'm looking forward to future updates and in the meantime I'm going to try and beat the game.
Haven't had this much fun with a game in a while! :-)

I think HopLegs is a pretty neat platformer for folks who like a challenge or absolute suffering. I put sometme into the game and the fun visuals accompanied by the charming music really starts it off well! The sense of accomplishment felt when getting through a level absolutely makes up for the time screaming and cursing from accidentally catapulting yourself backwards.
Also if you want to make sure that others feel your torment from the game there is a level editor! So you can build your own platforming hellscapes to test your friends endurance and put severe anguish on your relationship. And with multiplayer soon to come this will be a great couch co-op game to live, laugh, love, scream, and drink with your friends.
Something that really stuck with me when playing the game is when you quit the game it says "Shut down the game and cry". Sometimes you just need a good cry, so play HopLegs.

Such a fun, challenging and unique platformer. Hoplegs brings forward my stubborn nature in the best way possible and I just have to complete the masochistic gauntlets. The concept of having the four sides of the player-controlled cube correspond to the four buttons on your controller seem simple enough to grasp in the beginning, but it gets increasingly difficult to master the more you play.
With charming graphics, upbeat catchy music and a simple yet epic story, Hoplegs will leave a lasting impression! Don't let it defeat you!

I bought a copy for myself and my friend. The day after said friend messaged me "now my girlfriend hates you too".
Honestly, I have never enjoyed being frustrated in a game as much as I have in this one. The level design can be brutal, and feel a bit mean at times, but every time I fail it feels like it is because *I* screwed up, not because the game screws me over, you know? So there's no point in getting mad. And I do notice I'm already getting... well, I wouldn't say "better" just yet, but less bad at least. I'm having a lot of fun trying to master this and failing repeatedly, looking forward to seeing how high the skill mastery ceiling is for this game!
I also hope it becomes big enough to be picked up by the speedrunning community, I imagine it will be fun to see them come up with ways to exploit the physics of the game!

Propel your little cube dude about the place using extending legs from all 4 sides represented by the 4 buttons on a controller. A really fun challenge that has a ton of content, clever level design and glorious leader boards.
Art style is clean and suits the game well and is complimented by catchy music that mocks you perfectly as you bounce wildly about trying to reach that next ledge!
If you like a challenge then be sure to grab this game.
