The main objective is to complete 50 stages to escape the castle. Each stage comprises of block puzzles which the player must interact by pushing them. By pushing away the blocks it opens the path to switches. By pressing these switches it opens the exit. The player must quickly exit the level before time over. In addition, there are ninja tools that the players earn as they progress through the game. These tools introduces a new element into the puzzle solving which makes the game more complex as the player progresses.
As a bonus, this game has a level editor to create their own levels and publish them. Levels from the community can be downloaded to play them.
But is the game fun? It all depends if you like block puzzles. 50 levels is fine and it didn't overstay its welcome. With patience and persistence the player can finish this in one sitting.
There are a few gripes such as the stage music not being able to loop seamlessly if you're in the same stage for too long. Also, for players who are seeking variety, unfortunately, the majority of the game has a set pattern of go through each floor. (push blocks, find switches then exit the room etc). This is a block puzzle game at its core. Players that do not like block puzzles should not play this game.
But for players that likes block puzzles try this game out.
