All presentation, very uninspired gameplay. Don't buy this if you're looking for a shooter, but DO buy it if you're looking for an "interactive story experience" which respects and pays homage to the old 1950's science fiction movies: The Noir atmosphere is VERY nice, and you can tell the developer loves the genre.
But gameplay? It's not there. Very bland, lacking diversity - there are "over 20 unlockable upgrades", but they don't feel impactful - if we're beating aliens, of course we could steal some of those weapons and go a bit crazy, right?
The environment looks great, but at time it's very difficult to know if you're about to collide with something or if it's just scenery/environment.
The controls are good - not great.
