This game is a trip, would be great even without anything to solve, maybe even better. Congrats!

philosophical story with puzzel mechanics that complement the story really well

A game as pointless and trite as its message. The puzzles are exceedingly simple, the game play lackluster, and it's meaning is something that has been done a thousand times over. It's only redeeming quality are its visuals, unique setting, and blending of 2D pixel art style with 3D realism. I would only recommend if you enjoy this genre of games & it costs $5.00 or less.

A bit pretentious but I liked it. 2025 is not the year to be going "imagine if traditional good was bad and traditional evil was good" nor a good year to be all "nothing has meaning" or any of the iterations. Even then, dialogs, art direction, everything is very well polished. Very solid buy, although a bit overpriced considering the game can be completed faster than 5 hours on your first try.

great short ~4 hour game, a little overpriced for the amount of content, no replayability really set in an almost steampunk-like early 1900s/late 1800s alt russia with grand oversized architecture everywhere visually stunning puzzles periodically placed between walking simulator, not necessarily bad good story about a young orthodox nun, haunted by the devil great themes regarding morality & christian issues

The game is incredibly atmospheric and deeply chthonic. It tells a unique story of truly unusual people in a truly unusual visual setting. I absolutely love the developer's attention to even the smallest details—it feels like they consulted architects to realistically depict an old Orthodox country and its buildings. That said, there are some minor issues with the interface and background animations. The one thing that really bothered me was the tiny text in the main menu, button tips, and item descriptions.

It's not really a game. 90% of the time you just slowly walk somewhere through the snow. 9% you watch cut scenes, 1% you do boring tasks a la amongus, but much easier. Also, save doesn't work properly.

Intrigued by the game presentation, stayed for the game actual quality. INDIKA is a walking sim in and all, but it contains enough puzzle and platformer in it that it's kind of harsh to even call it walking sim. It's a really beautiful game, with a crazy but enjoyable story wrapped in a really solid and polished experience. The price might be too expensive for some, but I would consider it like buying a really good movie since the cutscene alone felt like watching a really good art house movie.

Truly incredible game, bought it the week it came out on trending tab because it looked so unique, but waited a while to play it. Unique story with great voice acting, presentation and cinematography. Not an action game, more puzzle and walking sim with some light action set pieces. I was never bored playing INDIKA, i was always wondering what the story is working toward. INDIKA will make you think with its questioning and maybe laugh at times with its intentional absurdity. You will be thinking about this game for a while after you finish. The only genuine criticism i would say is that the price is a bit high for a game that lasts for about 4 - 5 hours on a first play through will practically no replay value. Despite that, if you love gaming as an art form, you should experience this game for yourself at least once. Solid 9/10 I wish all game developers tried this hard :)

Short storytelling experience w/ innovative puzzles; requires average reflexes. Pros: * Really well-done worldbuilding and voice acting. * Puzzles were usually simple-with-an-obscure-twist. (ie: *headscratches*, then "Ohh, now I get it!") * Great puzzle mechanic of psychosis & prayer effecting reality. (sadly, only used twice) Cons: * 4 hrs long. Meh: * Character development could have been more explicit (lots of awkward pauses; in-character, but still), but was interesting. * Contains a few chase scenes and minigames that require moderate reflexes. (so, I died several times :P) TL;DR: If you don't mind it being really short, and love storytelling puzzlers, 8/10; else, avoid.
