Similar to Eco the game but only with vehicles. Improve you driving and jobs skills, gain better vehicles, make more profit. Create a company, and let AI drive in your fleet.

Buy. This. Game. If you're into GTA roleplaying, but wish you could actually work as a garbage man, a semi driver, a bus driver, a tow truck driver, etc etc... Any road based vehicle job you can think of. Even be a cop, or a paramedic. This game is the roleplaying driving game of your dreams. Expansive map, excellent car mods both mechanical and cosmetic. You can start a company of your choice and have other players work for you. The options are truly endless. The vibes in online are so much nicer than on GTA online. Everyone is polite and respectful of others, and are always willing to lend a helping hand. And, on the off chance someone has bad vibes, most servers have mods that will ban those people very quickly. I've never seen a community so against rudeness and general jackass-ness. Its very refreshing and creates a very comfortable game enviroment. This game seems to be mainly 25-35 yr old st*ners that just want good vibes. Also very welcoming to the LGBT+ community. I highly recommend checking this game out. It is fully worth paying full price. Dev is also great with updates and patches, about every other day one hits. Buy it. You'll be mad you didn't sooner.

Game is absolutely amazing. If you want a sim, that's also not grindy, this game is it. There is a shocking amount of depth to the game that others don't have. I.E. when you hook up to a trailer, you have to manually get out of the vehicle and interact with the landing leg(s) to raise them. When you go to unhook you have to do that again, but also pull the pin on the hitch to unhook. there is tire and brake wear, fuel management, vehicle tuning, "co-op" (You can play multiplayer with the homies, but I don't think you can assist each other in business contracts *currently*). There is a custom decal builder (think BO2 emblem maker, but on the body of a vehicle). There are multiple supply chains you need to run and source to maximize profits and/or create certain mats and different "careers" to do from vehicle recovery/towing, taxi services, bus driver, traditional truck driver, racing driver, police officer, and even a garbage man or ambulance driver. There is minor base building elements with the ability to customize the interior (there is currently no real benefit outside of looks and fast travel points) one of my favorite features is the ability to hire AI to run routes within your company for you to generate passive income and supply some of the portions of a supply chain. There is also an auto pilot for any vehicle you're driving yourself, allowing you to run the game in a semi-afk fashion and watch vids and podcasts on your phone while the AI makes the 15 minute drive to destination. makes the game much less grindy while also working impressively well. The game is VERY much in active development. While the updates are fairly slow to roll out, it's being made by a 4 man team. quite literally FOUR people. And they are absolutely taking player feedback with a player based closed test branch you can join through the discord to test early builds and features before pushed out to public release. Game is absolutely worth every penny, and then some. If there was a supporter edition, I'd buy it 10x over.

It might seem basic from the screenshots but this fun little game is deceptive in its depth and complexity. It's still in early access so there's some rough edges and plenty of game features which are not explained well but compared to when I had last tried this game a year or two ago it's come a long way. Update schedules seem to be around once a month which is fantastic and the game is ever expanding, as is the case with the massive new southern island which is already covering one of my concerns from before in that the "starter" island felt far too small. The beauty in this game is easily the driving. It took me a bit to work out how I want the controls set, adjust the shifting settings and discover the Sport driving mode over Comfort. Now I am gleefully power-sliding an old work pickup truck and trailer full of pumpkins on my way to my next delivery. If you're like me and find that the real world is constantly pulling you away from the screen simply hit 5 twice and the game will take the wheel, piloting your vehicle to the next waypoint or delivery drop. This has been a huge help for me as the early stages of getting money can be a tad grindy. Fortunately there is quite a lot of variety of work you can take on to keep things interesting. If you remember GTA San Andreas where you could jump into a taxi, ambulance, police car, or semi and run missions through that vehicle, Motor Town is based around the same idea. Most vehicles can be rented for a timed fee, borrowed where a cut is taken from your profits, or purchased where you can go a bit bonkers with changing up its appearance and performance. There's far more to this game already which I haven't gotten to, don't know about, or have barely scratched the surface of, but I've been enjoying hours of basic cargo runs. I've only now switched up to forest logging which brings an element of American Truck Simulator to the party, it's a completely different way to look at the game. If you're a fan of driving, don't overlook this gem. The roads even have potholes and the dirt paths are nice and rough, none of the usual "different texture but same flat surface" stuff found in most games. Try taking a rear wheel drive vehicle down a muddy path and you will get very stuck.

Game itself is great, good amount of interesting vehicles, some lacking in depth like the supra having no visual customizability. The jobs progression is well paced, each profession having their own levels leads to a good chunk of time playing each role, albeit with certain professions rewards lessening over time(the final police car is flat out bad). Small CO-OP is good but with the exception of a few servers, over 30 players causes the server to go near 10fps which can cause issues and desync. Overall 8/10 as any of the issues can be overlooked 95% of the time.

Easily one of the best open world trucking game out there! Featurewise beats the top titles of the genre, offering such features the competitors don't but their fans begging for since years. I like this kind of "toonlike" graphics, but I understand if somebody don't. With another graphics engine with realistic look Motor Town: BtW could be the king of the genre. With this look it is "just" the fresh prince.

Fun game, great way to chill. A wheel and VR (UEVR) make it even better. Well worth the money, i can see me spending many hours in this.

As a delivery driver, this game appealed to me. After nearly a couple hundred hours of ETS2, I needed something new. Being early access, the AI seemed solid, the game great, although pretty uniform... Then around the 6th hour, I saw something that just wow'd me. As I mention I'm a delivery driver. I see plenty of idiots on the road. Imagine my surprise and delight when upon driving a delivery on the bridge to the south Island, I see an AI NPC driver speeding, Upon which the AI loses control of its rear end, slides into my path, hits the bridge before flipping the car and landing on its roof! As someone who's seen many kinds of accidents throughout the years, this surprised me, and I'm giving a 10/10 for realism beyond the already great physics!

Was in love with it until i realised after upgrading my way to the best trucks that the economy is built to punish you for progressing. Who on earth thought it was a good idea to make the same cargo at the same weight, have different sell values depending on the truck used? This means that the beginner 40k flatbed truck + small trailer can bring in far more $$ per hour than the 300k truck with a 100k flatbed can. Just WHY???? This backwards feature applies to all professions and only incentives players to never upgrade into better vehicles unless its for the sole purpose of handing them over to the AI for automation. Due to this i cannot recommend the game until the devs decide to fix its economy, which as of now, makes zero sense.

When I first saw this game I was like "Oh look, it's a Synty low poly asset pack game... AGAIN!" But I started reading about it and figured out that it contained a bunch of interesting mechanics and physics to go along with them. Luckily, this isn't the asset flip you may expect seeing yet another Synty low poly asset pack game. But how to describe Motor Town? Hmm, well- do you like hauling goods in Euro Truck Simulator 2? Do you like buzzing around the city in GTAV Online and maybe doing odd jobs for some sweet sweet cash, in order to upgrade your stuff? Do you like having the environment fight you like in Mudrunner and Snowrunner, challenging you through dangerous paths? If these examples above sound interesting, then I urge you to look past the Synty low poly asset pack models and give this a chance! (there's also a demo you could check out, which could help you out to figure out if the game is for you) Now, I am a bit sad to report that I didn't play this game quite a whole lot on release (could also be that my old computer was acting up), but this game has gotten quite the updates ever since.
Thank you HokiHoshi for reminding me of this game!
Getting new models, kinda replacing Synty's models but still leave em in for the people who want them? Check. Product chains? Check.
Such as converting milk to cheese, and then sending cheese to the Pizzeria or Burger joint for premium products.
AI drivers that can give you a passive income? Check.
Note: Currently the max amount of AI workers is 10!
Ownable (not ALL trailers though) trailers? Check. Customizable bus routes? Check. Driveable motorcycles, mopeds?! CHECK. Towing jobs? CHECK! Working in a region makes the people more happy and the region become more profitable? CHECK. Racing? Well, of course- but it's not the main goal with the game but consider this as CHECK! You can also drive dump trucks, like the ones I drove in real life- which is so cool! And more is on the way. But this game have a balancing decision I have wanted to see in many cargo hauling games such as Elite Dangerous; You will outgrow the smaller vehicles. That is a fact. BUT- Smaller vehicles get a bonus for selling goods due to their limited storage, so they are quite amazing for local deliveries with small packages. So, even later when you have a greater economy built up there is a point to drive the tiny Kei-Trucks! I have yet to try out multiplayer, but I can see it being incredibly fun and also incredibly frustrating depending on the people you meet. Criticisms though? Well, it is a lower budget project so don't expect everything being flawless in the game. Physics may bug out, sending buses and trucks into orbit. Sometimes every surface feel very slippery, no matter what tires or build you are using. And while I haven't gotten to that point, I fear that the 'endgame' will get boring real fast as there are not enough 'credit sinks' in the game. What those could be I do not know, but right now it feels too easy to earn money but harder to lose money unless fines, refueling, repairing and upgrades are involved. I also would like to see 'on-foot' gameplay expanded a bit- once again, how I do not know. It's nice we can buy jerry cans with fuel and coolant, but no portable repair kits to fix up your car on the side of the road? Could be a minigame! All in all, I see huge potential in with this game and I am very happy to have rediscovered it here in 2025. It's still early access though, but the dev seem very active and update the game quite regularly. I'll probably rewrite this review later on release but for now, this is quite amazing!
