This is the game where you can drop a (dozen) JDAM(s) on a hospital filled with jihadists. The real fun though comes when you play with Syrian special forces, the true lions of Syria. I will now make a generic pros and cons list.
PROS:
Very fun at platoon to company (or two) level
Pretty realistic
JDAM
Has Syrian special forces
Tac AI is sometimes useful
Has technicals
CONS:
Very long at battalion level battles
Tac AI will do stupid things
Insurgents and Syrian soldiers as far as I know have no voice lines for "Allahu Akbar", or "La Ilaha Illallah"
Sometimes the game at certain distances does not load important geographical features like trees and fences
Also this Game is overpriced and this game engine is heavily outdated. The graphics get a lot of criticism but I'm fine with it because it kind of looks like all the war footage from Iraq/Afghanistan/Chechnya/Syria.
So overall pretty good game.
The only question that remains then is, Slitherine, Shock Force 3 when?
