The game is really fun and I really enjoyed playing it. But there are two main problems I see. The first problem is the tutorial. In the beginning, almost nothing made sense and the tutorial text at the beginning of the game was not helpful at all. But after a Youtube video, I understood what to do. The second problem is the performance. After only 1 hour when I was building a large colony, the fps was really low. I hope it will be fixed in the future. But all in all, the game is fun and worth buying for only €4.

i really want to come back to this in the future and see how long i can survive. The game has a pretty good loop, quick resource balancing 'rts' that has enough depth for a few quick games. dipped my toes in and i will probably come back, ive about 3.5 hours invested at the moment. Dev seems to be pretty responsive about things and is why i wanted to give this game a shot. i wouldnt spend my last $5 on it, but if i had a spare $5 id probably impulse buy it again. +1 from me.

Only played a few hours so far. Pretty fun game. Learning curve is a little steep with out a wiki or fandom page. In game tutorial will get you started with the basics. Easy to play hard to master kind of game. I like the graphics and the in depth management of balancing the town builds. The ingame tutorial needs a little updating I think. Some balancing numbers would help new players get the hang of it. Like the optimized numbers of farmers to wood cutters per # of tree tiles etc... Other then that the developer is doing really good work here. Cons. I like the graphics personally but if your wanting something pretty then maybe this isn't the game for you. I like the simple design and easy to follow tiles. I will update once I get a better understanding of the game.

i like this game ,its a simple but punishing at same time the game its not focusing on attack and destroy all enemies ,but more like Surviving until 100 day ,and this game doesn't teach you to play defensive ,you need to keep pushing your enemies by attacking their cities or they will slap you with their horde and make you hard to recover. in my Opinion PROS : + Simple but Challenging game + you can make your own Resource place by changing environment ,crate grain,Mine,Water etc for your people to process + Enemies are Really definition of "Rats" or "cockroach" ,you take their base ,they will make it again in another place , suddenly they everywhere ,ignore them for a while and suddenly they come with army to Slap you .its a Simple game ,and AI know that too Cons : - still Developing ,you can See its very minimalist ,dont expect the graphic too much - The Guide , Developer try his best to explain with a simple explanation + Image ,but still need to pratice for that in game like how many Farmer and worker needed in grain field ,resouce needed etc. - troops sometime still try to attack fail attacked city, the stop attack button still really cant stop them - my biggest criticism are resource counter ,its very unstable.some month its +100 next month its suddenly -200 ,its kinda annoying for me to calculating the balance ,i hope developer can change it to more stable counter My suggestion : i really hope Developer can make how many AI we can have in 1 Map each game ,i really want to try 1 vs 1 with Hard AI since i didn't get a fair fight in my last game -_- 8/10 for a Indie one-Person game

This is a god game where you play as a Magical King that creates his own kingdom from the ground-up, starting from a small castle to an expansive empire. The map is procedurally generated and infinite, so the potential for conquest and expansion is the same. The meat of the game lies in its extensive management systems, with terrain, buildings and units all having their own unique capabilities that have to be synergized in such a way as to guarantee success and the happiness of your people. All of this can be altered by the King's magic to be optimized and there's an extensive in-game tutorial and hint system to properly explain the details. Once you get a handle on the economy, then it's time to start expansion via capturing enemy buildings, building outposts and castles. There's a handy system to coordinate your troops included that allows you to designate attack locations, patrol points or lead your men into battle. Otherwise AI is automated and will defend, gather and seek out new resources without the need for oversight. The game includes three difficulty levels, one for building, one for new players and the "Real" difficulty where you'll face deadly foes and can easily lose your King if you're not careful. For the price it's essentially robbery, so pick it up if you like complex management sims but don't necessarily care if they're graphically simple.

I picked up the game on Nov 5th. It has a pretty unique experience for sure. It took me a few tries before I somewhat was able to figure out some of the game mechanics for why my people kept getting unhappy. As my kingdom got bigger, I found that my king character moved 2 cubes(spaces) per game freeze. For only getting the game for 3 bucks, I can't complain. Will look forward to future performance improvements. I'm not a game developer, but my develop experience makes me wonder if the pauses/lag in gameplay are from garbage collection or locks from certain threads as all the NPCs are concurrently trying to do things. There are 3 AI kingdoms that attack each other and you. As of the time of this review, I had to rely on the picture-based tutorials to figure out what buildings did what. I was impressed for seeing the number of features in a game like this. Good stuff.

This game is for people who are seeking a simple Empire simulator. It's simple enough to have fun, but challenging to actually play the game. Get it if you like building a vast empire, and conquer foreigners for their resources. Cons: -Game is simple and only uses simple resources. For example food (no fruits, wheat and meat just food), Ore ( no copper, iron, and bronze just ore in general) -Graphics looks like a sad spreadsheet (subjective). -No grouping, You can't call just 10 swordsmen etc, it's the entire stock of your swordsmen when you call for them or non of them. Late game this mean soldiers half a world away will converge on your location, which is bad when on the other side of the empire a settlement got conquered. Taking valuale soldiers away from that front, and those soldiers won't eve reach you. Pros: -The game is near limitless, you can sail to the fog of war and just continue moving. The only limit is the power of your CPU XD -Empires get large and I mean LARGE. Scrolling out is cool to look at due to the web of cities you built. -Early game the AI is ez you can basically solo charge them. late game though the enemy will start sending 20+ late game soldiers at you RIP. Conclusion: This game is for those who want a simple Empire sim, with a vast land to conquer. It is very simple though so don't expect any tier of skulduggery or diplomacy. There is only war, and land to conquer. Graphics is... yeah... what you see is what you get. The game is simple but challenging, explanation below. Don't stop building resource buildings and that each town don't forget a hospital and workshop this is to raise the happiness. I was boned and forced to end my 1st playtrough because I did not build enough wells, and ran out of water. Not really a problem BUT this was enough so that 2 of my farming towns rebelled, I was conquering an AI settlement so I just brushed this of. Unfortunately 1 of those farming town has 6 castle = 6 knights. So when I let go of the army I have. those 6 knights retreated to the 6 rebel castles + arrow towers + farmers so they were dead. Eventually they town was conquered back, unfortunately my food also run out, I was spamming wells to increase my water BUT this took people from farming into water. This created a cycle where I would get a positive gain in food will cause me a negative gain in water. and vice versa. low food and water = low hapiness, low hapiness = rebellion, rebellion = low food and water production. so basically I was booned hahaha. When you conquer a land rend the soil from all of its resources it can give you for this will save you later on.

Not at all a bad game but could really use a few improvements. In my hour of playing I can confidently say: -Needs a better management UI where you can easily look and scroll through things that are going on. -Game play could definitely be slowed down, everything happens on a whim including rebellions and makes putting your attention towards one or just a few things very difficult, feels like you constantly need to micromanage. -Food depletes wayyyy too quickly, I was able to keep every other resource at a reasonable level with far fewer buildings but even a million farms won't get the job done. -Lords/Barons. It would be nice if a castle could make another commander so you don't always have to assemble the army yourself, garrisons placed in a certain distance from their castle would make them under their control and there should be an option for you to make them either patrol or constantly wage war. It would also be cool if you name them as well just so the world feels a little less devoid like you're the only real person there. These are just my suggestions but I do feel like it would make for a more fun and less confusing/annoying play through, though the game is still good now, 7/10. Edit: A diplomacy and alliance system would also be a nice welcome.

It's a very fun sandbox style of game and simple to play yet difficult to master. Developer is also very active. Give it a try. Edit : it's 2023 and Developer is still actively developing the game. The game system and ai have become so much better now.

I hate to give this a negative review because I do like supporting indie and solo developers (the work they do is hard to understand) but after playing this for a little while, I don't feel the desire to play it much more. It wasn't BAD and the $5 price tag is reasonable, so I wish I could give it a NEUTRAL rating. You play as a King pawn who you can move around the map attacking enemies and changing any tile as you see fit. Farmland for food/wood, mountains for stone/iron, and also roads and buildings. Buildings spawn your citizens like farmers, soldiers, and tax collectors, etc, who all roam the map doing their own thing. Theoretically this can lead to you building a super colony of towns and castles, but the clumsy UI, baffling tutorials, and confusing focus just keeps it from being a long term game for me. Sorry. PROS + Freedom to build land however you see fit + Virtually infinite world + Enemy factions and cities keeps things interesting CONS - Confusing, ugly interface and tutorials - Simple graphics and audio may annoy some - Many buildings and systems do not make sense (School --> Knowledge --> What does this affect exactly?) - Citizen behavior seems chaotic and random making me unsure if I can optimize Again I wish I could give it a Neutral review. For $5, I do not feel cheated or angry, but I just do not feel the desire to play it again.
