Cute Art, gameplay mechanics are simple (maybe a bit too simple?). Kinda sad about the lackluster single player though. I like the music, although overall, the gameplay itself is kinda meh. I really like the art for the characters though, and I think the Chibi Doll Forms are super cute.

I guess it's fun enough, but... no vs AI random match? Come on, that couldn't have been THAT hard to implement; there was no need to leave it with a story mode with fixed levels and an MP where you need three SPECIFIC other players. You have every possible PC choice defined and already worked out an AI, so why not just like... make them available outside of MP. This is such a weird oversight, it's absurd. Edit: on further inspection, you can start a multiplayer game and fill in AI by pressing enter. That's... okay, if you like the game within 2 hours, I'd say it's worth it, that's just really dumb UI.

This game was good and the gameplay was unique, but the story really short and no expression image, it's really lazy for the developer. Only fun when you play multiplayer, and again final boss was really unbalance. so... if you don't have friends, this game really boring and not worth it.

The game is really fun, unique, and had so much potential however where it fell off is it’s lack of content. The game features a story mode, co-op, and… that’s it. You have to create a lobby and give someone a room id so they can join you which I think a matchmaking system would have been far superior and the story mode is no more than an hour long and super easy to beat. I had hoped that the game would receive more updates and content but sadly that’s not the case. So overall the game was fun for an hour at most but there’s nothing to really do once you beat the story mode unfortunately. So if you plan on buying the game still you should probably just wait along for a sale.

Touhou DollDraft is a Strategy and Resource Management game that pits you against three other players in a battle of dollified Touhou characters. DollDraft features a short Single Player mode, a Multiplayer room system, and a Doll gallery. The game play is split into three parts: a doll buying phase, a placement phase, and an auto-chess phase. During the first two phases, you must use your currency wisely to buy a team and swipe other players’ dolls. In the auto-chess phase, your dolls duke it out in a battle of Power to ultimately inflict damage on the other players. This game play loop is satisfying when all the information is available to the player. That being said, that is the beginning of Touhou DollDraft’s design issues. First and foremost, the tutorial is dramatically bare. It is too fast-paced, not presenting what the information means during game play. Notably, it neglects to explain terms that are present in many skills, such as mentioning “S Points” and “B Points,” but not explaining what these points are. What really exemplifies this issue is that you can sell your dolls, but the game never mentions this. While it is normal for a Multiplayer game to have a bare Single Player mode, the Multiplayer requires four players to use the same room code, as opposed to random matching. This significantly hurts the viability of its multiplayer aspects, since it is quite a hassle finding three players of a niche fan game. For what it is worth, the art is quite cute and the game play itself allows for creativity when creating your doll dream team. But the incredibly brief Single Player story and lacking Multiplayer options make Touhou DollDraft difficult to play when you want to.
