Why is it so dark in here? Both stories in this episode are absolutely insanely dark compared to the previous routes. One is comically funny because what do you mean that this character has 14 BAD ENDINGS???? I played other games and never have I seen that audacity replicated anywhere else no matter how chonky the play time is. BECAUSE WHAT DO YOU MEAN?? Highly appreciated the people who suffered and bled to create those walkthroughs fr fr Then the other story is my first introduction to a yandere love interest. I’ve never encountered one before in my previous otome games and it’s definitely a flavor to die for, albeit not one I’M willing to die for. This is the stepping stone before everything starts to make sense. Naturally, you who is so keen of mind and quick of wit, would notice how strange or unnatural some plot points are. If you are enjoying the story so far, then this game is for you. But if you find it too convoluted or draggy or relentless, then perhaps this is a great stopping point since the next episode gets even more complicated. I enjoyed this experience, but not necessarily the love interests.

This is where the plot is getting more serious and starts to talk about heavy topics. Please read the warnings in the game description [Content Warning] because this episode talks about
mental illness, medication addiction, suicide, etc
. This is not your fluffy episode like the 1 and that's why many people seem disappointed in the comments. I would also add that this is a Japanese Otome, and many of them have heavy topics, so if you are more sensitive to some themes, please check carefully before playing any of those games. Honestly, this is not that dark, but everyone is different. Please avoid it if you only want a fluffy story. I liked this episode more because it's more serious, and you get a few revelations about the main plot if you play some endings. The MC personality is getting more
"darker"
. The humor is still there, but a little bit less. The wizard will still give you some funny bad endings lol.

𝝑⋆₊˚⊹♡⋆౨ৎ˚. When compared to the first episode, this one explores far darker themes. Before playing, I highly recommend reading the content warnings in the game description, as it includes numerous mentions of mental illness, medication addiction, suicide, and even attempted sexual assault. Despite that, the story and gameplay are genuinely compelling—you really should give the whole series a chance. Over time, you’ll find yourself falling in love with it. Everything eventually comes together, and the pieces fall into place beautifully. You just need to trust the process. Now... unfortunately, I do love Gretel. Yes, his story involves a lot of strange and unsettling things, but I can’t help it—I understand him, and I care about him deeply. There were moments I just wanted to hug him, to talk him down while he acted like a maniac… but I couldn’t, since he’s literally a game character. Still, the feeling was real. As for Kaguya, this was my first time hearing The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter. I haven’t explored the original tale fully, but from what I learned in the game, it’s a fascinating story. At first, I was honestly shocked by Kaguya’s route and thought things were moving too quickly. But as the plot progressed, I realized the pacing was actually very well thought out. The ending really moved me—I truly wished I had known Kaguya from the very beginning, just so I could hold his hand and tell him that everything would be okay. That didn’t happen, of course, but the ending was still so satisfying. I have no complaints. Our heroine handled everything with strength and sensitivity in both routes. Her choices, her way of seeing things, the way she carried herself—it all felt so on point. I genuinely love this series. You should definitely give it a try.
