This is a fun Indie JRPG. The characters are interesting and likable. The story is enjoyable, and the side quests are also interesting too, as they show a variety of the people's reactions to the world they live in. The battle system is serviceable. Not perfect, but both good and fun to play. Some skills are underwhelming, and others become staples of combat. The translation is okay, as it's clear that English was not the developer's first language. There are some bugs, and there's no auto-save, so saving often is recommended. There is also a decent amount of grinding, so some patience is required. There ARE some skills that help with that at a certain point. If you're a fan of classic JRPGs, Order from Caos is definitely worth buying. EDIT: Also... you get to punch nihilists in the face. I appreciate that!

The storyline shines in this game and I loved the characters. I liked the sidequests and how everything tied together at the end. I can tell that English is not the creator's first language, but the game is still quite understandable. I found the Portuguese scripts entertaining when they flipped back to the creator's first language. All in all, an excellent Indie game that is turn based. I would have liked to see status effects take more a role along with better equipment, but this game was well balanced.

Vou tentar zerar o game to quase recomeçando ele pra poder jogar melhor. Game uses the original RTP of the RPG MAKER MV a lot, you can see that there is no zeal at all when making the maps, I still haven't finished the game at this moment and I will update my feedback when I finish. Map design is very weak and lacking in detail. Cities have almost no people outside buildings. I found it a bit lazy. The game is relatively difficult with the need to fight a lot, grind a lot, and you can be punished if you avoid fights because you will be stuck in the game. The game has very few places to restore party energy and you always have to be buying or grinding potions to keep up with items. I found the design of the maps quite precarious. It seems to me that the story of the game is the great asset, so far I'm enjoying the game. I'm in the first city after fleeing by car. And in this city I arrived weak, I can't leave it to level up and I'm having difficulty in the dungeon that exists inside this city because the fights are very time consuming due to the fact that I have not leveled up before and it gives little XP. I'm going to try to reset the game, I'm almost restarting it to be able to play better. I'm liking the plot, I'm finding the fight too difficult, you have to grind a lot and I also don't like random fights. I prefer to see the enemy on the map and only have a fight if there is contact. Recommended for RPG fans who prefer an extra difficulty and Old School. When I finish the game I will bring a new updated feedback. Congratulations White Vortex. I will test your other games. You could have made a beautiful game graphically but it was too much in the RTP of the program. In my view this was a big mistake.

I still did not finish the game, but at the time of this writing, I'm about 15 hours on the story. I'm really loving it! The story is captivating, the art design is quite charming and the original soundtrack is beautiful to hear. The combat system is the classic turn-based combat. At this moment I've didn't find any true difficulties (besides not staying low on mana), but it's still quite challenging (and I'm probably still in the beggining). Trying to learn which type of spell is more effective against each monster was fun. And the spell animations are gorgeous! You can see that it's a game made by someone who had put a lot of work into it. It's a game made by someone who loves playing games. I would recommend for everyone who likes the genre! It's worth a shot and the price is fair (besides helping the artist!) Looking forward to future projects!

I probably could enjoy it, but after one bug to many (the last one being the game suddenly becoming unresponsive after driving with a vehicle, after grinding a bit) i'm giving up.

(Note: I will NOT judge this game based on its language. I don't speak Portuguese, but I certainly understand what it's like to have English as a second or third language. Just know that it is possible to understand everything that is said in the game, even though some things sound a bit strange to us. I take it as fun to try and figure out what the author initially meant to say in the first place, like a puzzle in a puzzle game!) This certainly looked like an interesting game, so I decided to check it out! I also wanted to support the Developer since it looked like they put a lot of work into the game. It shows. The atmosphere, music, OST/SFX, and all the goodness are fun to play with and I wasn't bored once! Sometimes you gotta grind... still wasn't boring. You meet different characters, go on an adventure and see what you can do about baddies! The game doesn't have a difficulty level, but if I can get to the ending cinematics of this game? You definitely can! I enjoyed myself and I look forward to a continuation, if there is any! Now... The game isn't without flaws and I will point some out, but only because I think this game could be so much greater! This is entirely my opinion, but it can help. Please do not take this as offense... I did it because I really care. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (NOTE: Thank you to Developer who actually read my review and fixed some bugs! So the ones below may already be solved! Can't wait to check 'em out!) The game gets a weird pop up when it starts up, but you can just close it... I am not sure what it's about. Some of the dialogue is not translated in the game. However, you can try to translate it yourself and it isn't important to the mission. Whenever there is a "riding in the car" mission parts -> the game lags really hard. Saving takes a while too. But car riding is entertaining! A character named "Joh" is a master car loving guy, but he can't fix vehicles? When you get into the first Desert area, a guy who never saw cars can fix it? I thought it was odd, especially when "Joh" fixes another car later on... There are no inns / tents / resting spots. None. You have to depend on potions. I did find a nurse... That's the only time they healed. Even sleeping in quest doesn't heal ya. You know... that gives you kind of a challenge in itself. "Promethius" Summon and Quest was fixed! :D On "Mega Attack" it reads "70 TP" needed, but it also says "50 TP". It just needs 50TP. "Magdalene" quest / part was fixed too! YAY! I am confused as to how elements run in this game, because there is no chart and you gotta go through many spells to figure out which one hits... Most of them hit either 0 or below 100. Apart from the super high level spells. "Joh's skills were modified too. ~ Some quests are obscure... so take care to remember what was said the first time... <-- This is more of a tip. I still don't know why there was an ice cave with an ice crystal inside "Blanca". No quest was ever given for it. Was it intended to be used for something? "Lana" learns "special shot" twice. She already has it, but then learns it again. In the "Underground" the character says to talk to "Kunai" about cave help. At first, she doesn't say anything about the caves below... then you realize you need a special item. Shouldn't she say that before hand? Unless it was intended on purpose, then that's okay. (It's just she doesn't even give an item or hint at all...) Whenever there are 8 enemies in the "Underground" area, the game lags super hard! You have to hope the attack starts... usually waiting and clicking/button pressing (not too fast) helps. That "What would you do for love?" was one crazy quest! Until I found the guy who needs a potion to... hallucinate stuff. (This is my random comment). Heads up on the "Flying" part... don't get too sick. The rain makes it kinda hard to focus. Luckily it's not too long and hopefully people will be okay. The cave with the three demons design looks like a "magic eye" picture, so yes... Speaking of the same cave, the chase before "Suzako" never ever opens!!! I wanted to know what was in it! Now this was my main problem with the game: Everyone except "Dan" are very under powered. "Joh" and "Harolde" mostly hit zeros on every attack. "Daliah" has too many spells, so by the time you find the right one -> "Dan" already killed everything. "Tina" is alright, but you have to depend on potions instead of healers... because healing % is not very high. "Lana" is the second strongest to "Dan". I think "Joh's" skills should be fixed (so we could use all of them) and somehow damage could be raised on some of the skills? - What I basically had to do was power up "Dan" super hard... He does all the work and the other characters act as support. Until you get "Lana" then she can help with "Tina" sometimes. That and "Dan's" mega skill froze animation on the last boss... I was about to get very slightly angry, but it actually continued afterwards... PHEW!!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Okay so I know that was... a bunch? But I want to see the game prosper and become amazing! I even took the time to do all the quests! (I still had no idea the "clown" was a quest... and never got to finish that one and I don't really know who "Magdalene" girl is exactly... but I understood everything else!) This game is fair... I will come back to play it again. I'll even play the sequel (if any), because the Developer cared and so did I. Now you be the judge. Thank you for the interesting game which took me a good amount of time to enjoy!!! :) :) =)
