Feels fresh but still need some polishing, game is kinda fast that is nice for WarCraft 3, Starcraft 2 fan, seems good with crowd fights, I like it and definitely recommend!
Also insanely like folklore/mythological style and RTS games, can't wait for the full game and company release!

Godsworn is a well done RTS in the vein of Warcraft 3. The campaign is short and takes about 4 hours to complete the five missions, with more missions to come. Solo players might want to wait to buy until the campaign is further along.

it feels like a combination of age of empires and warcraft. Generally the game has quite good quality and appearance, but I believe there's some issue in core game design, specifically as follows:
1. Worshipers seems to be very valuable resources, as you MF in early game usually it gives you only 1~2 worshipers, otherwise you can only get worshipers by time. But if your worshipers get killed, you have no way to produce any new ones, thus your income will be PERMANENTLY lower than your opponent. It's like in starcraft if you get some disadvantage in the early game but play risky to expand a new base, however you cannot produce any worker for that base. Doesn't make sense.
2. That candle resource which is called will or faith? It seems that there are not many ways to improve it's income. Yet in late game LOTS of researches and high tier units productions need faith. Casting some map skills needs faith too. If you cast some skills in early game to "make fully use of" faith, you will never be able to upgrade some techs or produce late game units. Means you simply want some functions consume such a kind of resource as faith, rather than design a produce-upgrade-consume life cycle of this resource.
3. Heroes learn new skills from a "skill tree", some "map skills" which doesn't need hero to cast it also are learnt from the same skill tree. some passive skills also came from the same skill tree. Now there's no different UI indicating these are functions that works very differently.
4. Not very clear illustration of you combat numerical system. What kinds of damage do you have, how does armor reduce damage, is there any way to reduce magical damage? How does siege units deal extra damage to buildings? Or they are not, but only have a longer and safer shooting range? How does units counter each others?
Therefore I think you guys are only making some new things. I can't imagine what to play if I consumed all the surprising funs. Classical and outstanding RTS games are not doing things this simply. In starcraft, you design a tank, then you need to surprise your player by transforming it to a cannon. You design a mine, then you surprise your player buy making it search enemies automatically. In red alert designs were getting less good, yet they still remain every unit has it's own F skill, it doesn't surprise player, but giving more understanding and operation space for players therefore players can sharpen their skills and willing to pratice more. I play spell force too. In that game, there are just different new units and heroes fighting each other. Yet comparing with your game, they at least have deep resource cycle management, can be studied and practiced to higher skills.
Now this game is in early access. If there's only performance issue or not enough content, I feel it's completely fine by me. But your design language tells me that you don't really think the same way as I do, you don't really get the reason why classical RTS games were successful for decades, That's why I refunded. Hopfully you may change something in the future.

Very very very good RTS with huge potential
Interesting and well refined units
Balanced so far
Good Art direction.
Gameplay
the only drawback of this game is that you can always YEEEET the enemy base and win the game
other than that is a truly fun game that feels and plays like Warcraft 3.
Art
Needs more distinct features for each God faction.
Needs more energetic and distinct voicelines. Now it good but kind of bland.
Content
Content wise its enough.
If it had community maps and mods it would shine so bright it would be blinding

What a wonderful game. Easy to play, and beautiful to look at. It has been compared to Spellforce and Warcraft III, I will also throw in Age of Mythology extended edition and LOTR: Battle for middle earth II which is unplayable now, but I am happy to replace that with this game. After playing the demo, I just had to buy the early access game and I am very happy that I did. I hope the devs keep upgrading and improving it.

Amazing game - 10/10
Very smooth gameplay despite being in development. The soundtrack is simply wonderful and the campaign story is interesting as well. Love the graphics and the overall design + worldbuilding. The mechanics work well and it's easy to grasp but hard to master, the difficulty settings provide additional possibilities to test your skills. Can't wait for it to be completed, but already worth it with the existing content.

Very good game. If you like Warcraft III, Northgard, or Age of Mythology, this game is fantastic. Really excited to see where this game is going and everyone should support these 2 lone developers!
You like heroes? They got it. You like mythological creatures? They got it. You like some intense horde-mode style PVE? They got it. You like putting your archers on top of walls to defend a choke point? They got it.
My only complaint is that the game needs more players. If this game had a multiplayer scene of even a few hundred people, there would be a lot of really fun casual matches of both PVE and PVP. I'm sure this game will get some hype around it when it gets its official release.
