VERY NOVEL, and quite fun. Some issues with controls, but that will be fixed over time I assume. Really cool tbh

Fun to just drop into for a strategy fix with low commitment. You must watch youtube vids to understand how to control the line commands or the game will seem very shallow. The documentation and tutorials are not great but there are some good explainers if you search for them.

It's a wonderful game that needs to have a better tutorial, unlike those who claim it has the worst tutorial ever or a terrible one. I have seen worst believe me. The issue is the games tutorial isn't a hands on experience it's done entirely through video clips so it's hard to retain the info we're being given especially in such a unique blend of strategy genres mixed with a unique command system. Once you learn how to issue commands, understand the controls and economy and how it all flows together it's a wonderful experience the issue is getting to that point because the game doesn't covey that info properly again no hands on tutorial everything is through video which whilst still nice it could have been better.

Lets you play STRATEGIC RTS and not just sweat over APM or ridiculous micro. Command tools more like real life and less abstract like most RTS. Slightly clumsy but very well done.
TL;DR: Game needs a lot of work before it is anywhere near worth its $25 price tag
1. Poor Controls A lot about this game does not make sense at first glance and could be made a lot easier for a new player to understand. The fact that the way units are assigned to orders is by just being in a general area of the arrow is really frustrating when you have pockets of units left behind because they weren't close enough. It also makes it really difficult to do things like split armies because there is no way to select individual units. Would make so much more sense to be able to click and drag to select units and assign them to the orders you've given. Controls are not intuitive and take a long time to get used to. 2. Game is slooowww Everything in this game feels slower than it should be. Units build slow, move slow, and die slow. Makes for really long boring games that feel like a slog. Game would be a lot more entertaining with a boost to the speed of everything to speed things up. 3. Lack of Depth The game is currently being worked on so this may change but currently this game has no depth. It feels like the gameplay never evolves and that really limits the strategies you can have. The only real strategy it feels like in selecting your units is if they have air build some anti air. Needs more unit types and could benefit from distinguishing the units more. Tanks feel like bigger soldiers. With no unit health bars I can't even really feel the difference in their damage or health because I cant compare the two visually. The game could really benefit from some unit abilities or a rock paper scissors between unit types to make it more interesting. 4. Unintuitive Gameplay Besides the controls some things dont feel like they make sense logically. Artillery with the maximum range is 2 centimeters apart on my screen. Tanks and footsoldiers have to kiss eachother to fight. This is another reason why the untis feel so similar is almost all of them have the same range. No health bars on units makes it harder for me to gauge impact of one unit vs another. This games concept is really good but it really needs some work before its worth it. I got this on sale for ~$7 and it was not worth it to me. $25 for this is outrageous in its current state but with A LOT of updates I can see it getting there.

Move controls are a little weird but once you get those down the game gets very fun especially with a friend

The first hour was kind of frustrating because of the unconventional unit controls, but after getting over the learning curve its pretty great once it clicks! Would recommend it, though the price is a bit steep. If you're looking for some rts battles that allow you to set up large strategies vs guiding individual units, give it a shot.

This is a negative review, only because the controls of the game. I must say I LOVE the concept of this game, however, it just feels wrong to not be able to select units. There is times where you only want to move a couple units and you cant. Also for the 4x element of this game, playing tall is impossible. Not a big deal, but it would be nice to have more than 1 winning strategy, which is currently expand fast. You can't turtle down and build up. Remember the good ol days of Red Alert 1, choking off a point with tesla coils and building a stack of mammoth tanks to roll over the enemy. That strategy is impossible in this game, this is just one example. There needs to be some compromise between macro and micro. This is all macro. If a good compromise is found ill replay and maybe change my review..... stay tuned. Seriously tho, love the concept!!!!! We need more fresh ideas like this in the gaming world.

I like the game very much! Gameplay is easy to learn - hard to master. After few games it becomes easy to defeat the hardest AI. But the problem is that the game has very low online. And few players who always online are unwinable for simple mortals like me. I still manage to find games and even win in peak hours. I really wait for new updates and hope there will be more new players in the future!

The absolute most ass tutorials I've ever seen on a game, I had no clue what was going on my first two games. Needs a play-by-play or interactive tutorial 100% That said, it's an extremely fun game if you like strategy. Highly replayable.
