It's okay, I would have liked this as a kid. The reason I stopped playing is because it felt bland to me, and the people you can romance all look like children.

Even before full release I love this game 9/10 so far. after full release I think this game will be 10/10. The blobs are cute. The farming is clean. Fishing is a click and get not a mini game. Some things could have a tutorial, it is still in a pre-release. I use a game controller and controls are smooth. A tip for early play is to forage and in the town square do your free daily spin of a wheel.

Played for 4 hours so far but Steam sync is hot garbage; it's been way longer than 24 minutes. I've had my eye on this game for several several months. It released in EA on 7/23/2024 and I finally bit the bullet 4/08/2025. It says EA for ~8-10 months so maybe it should be fully released soon? I've played for 4 hours so far and I gotta admit even having easier battle settings didn't make the game much easier for me. Energy drains so much faster here than in any other game I've played. I'm not the biggest fan of the battle mechanic where your blobs race down the little line thing to determine when they can attack, but it definitely is different. Pros: • Magical chests are all over town so quick access all your stuff. • Fast travel unlocked asap. • You can put events/cut scenes on 2x speed (or skip). • Chronic illness rep??? Lady Lazuli gets lightheaded easily and is housebound most days. Literally love seeing the representation thank you Claudia truly. • The blobs are adorable. • Just like Stardew, the first backpack upgrade is ~affordable at 2000. • Charoi's design is probly my favorite! And she has a bat blob? Is she based off of Zola and Killer Bat from Blue Dragon? They're similar! Cons: • Not much character customizing in the beginning but I imagine more will be available later. • Not much of a con, but there are a lot of cut scenes to get through in the very beginning! • There are some buildings labeled as "???" so they are not unlockable yet given the EA status. • Largest complaint is energy drain is ridiculously fast. Even using skill points to minimize energy usage of tools, it only reduces usage by 1 point. It doesn't make too much of a difference when the food is expensive to buy and you can't nap in your bed to restore some energy. Suggestions: • Like other games, I'd highly recommend having a tool wheel to help avoid taking up inventory space! • Better early game cooking recipes that don't require milk/cream/eggs. • Using the bed to nap a few hours for energy would be extremely helpful. • More in depth difficulty settings, like Palworld, would be cool.

Breeding the blobs is a lot of fun. The battles are tough but not unreasonable. The characters actually have personalities and interesting backstories. I'm pretty sure this was done by one person which is crazy considering the amount of content it has compared to "AAA" farming games. It looks like a really simple game but is surprisingly complex.

Really lovely game, however doing any task takes too much energy when you don't have a lot to start with. I am 5 hours in and this is still really frustrating, it reduces the enjoyment of a really nice game, perhaps this could be improved

I just want to tell the Developers, I absolutely love everything about this game and I am so happy that I found it. Thank you so much for this diamond in the rough state that gaming is in right now. This is exactly what I needed. I hope every creature collecting gamer gets a chance to play this masterpiece. 🙏🏻

Really fun game, I love how the different systems' rewards are interlinked giving incentive to do everything. The rewards available for friendship tiers are substantial and exciting. The quality of the writing for the stories are also an unexpected high point. There's also a lot of good QoL features like stacking items into chests, lowering the saturation of the colours in the game and signposts for fast travel and saving. I also really appreciate that the developer is responsive to feedback regarding accessibility, adding motion sickness settings after I wrote about it on the forums. Really looking forward to updates as there's clearly a lot more content planned, and the game is still low on clothing and furniture options. I would also like to be able to let my blobs out of their barn like the blobs at Jade and Ruby's farm.

This game is already amazing and full of content despite it being in Early Access. It's what it says on the tin: Stardew/Harvest Moon meets Pokémon (meets Slime Rancher?) and tons of cozy fun, but the best part is that you can tell how much love has been put into its creation and details. The nicest surprise to me is that this game has surprisingly good writing, for a type of game that usually doesn't have, or arguably even *need* good writing. Every character is quite charming and their story arcs don't feel basic or bland, like so many other cashgrab games in this genre. This one is not that: it feels like a genuine labor of love, full of little cute and fun details to discover and unlock. Crafting is fun, customization is fun, exploring is fun. Honestly, there's no better testament to this game's quality than the fact that I didn't ADHD away after one session, lol. Give the demo a try! I did and immediately after I bought the game for full price, which I almost never do, because it's worth it. Happy cozy gaming :)
