It's nice to have a more completed version for anyone who played the original.

This one didn't work for me, at least so far. I loved Romancing SaGa 2 and 3, as well as the RS2 remake, and I didn't like Romancing SaGa: Minstrel's Song that much because of annoying mechanics like using proficiencies costing LP or weapons having durability, but even that one was a better experience that this game. I was all for the minimal hand-holding, simple plot and freedom to do whatever you wanted in whatever order in the other games, but this one goes beyond that, to the point that it seems to not have a story at all except in the most broad terms, no goals, no explanation for anything, and I didn't enjoy the experience. Maybe I'll try again in the future, but so far it's not for me.
