horribly optimized, can't even play 10 minutes anymore without constant freezing
early access never had issues like this
that's 3 skating games that became horrible on launch, how does this even happen?

I think that this is a great start for a genre that I hope can expand in the future of VR Skate games. This game is super fun and I think that its systems are amazing, and even tho I have finished this game I have a feeling I will be coming back to it every now and then the same I do with games such as Skate 3 or a Tony Hawk Pro Skater.
The levels themselves aren't much to write home about, but I think that they have a good mixture of areas and places to do cool tricks, and the increasing difficulty of the levels as you keep playing makes the game feel like you truly have to master it, and although I feel I never reached a point where I mastered it, I narrowly made it there enough and the learning curve makes it feel like a good progression.
Besides a couple of weird bugs here and there there wasn't really ever a moment where I felt it was the game's fault that I didn't land a trick or line. the timing and systems feel very refined, leading to the gameplay feeling very hard at times but very fun. Also, I think the idea of using the hands as tricks for the board will be carried over to other possible VR skating games in the future. Very innovative Idea and I'm sure it will inspire more VR devs in the future to try and make similar systems.
I was really chasing gold medals in this game, which isn't something I usually do in games like this, I usually settle for silver in most games, but the learning curve and systems in this game egged me on to keep going and get better to reach those gold medals, and in the end, I did and it was a great feeling, if you play I recommend going for it too :3.
Overall great game that you should definitely try if you have VR and are a fan of skateboarding. Although if I do have to say one thing... wait for a sale, don't really think it's worth its current $40 price tag as good as I think it is. (8.7/10)
