Autopsy Simulator Reviews

Pretty buggy right now. I cannot finish the prologue as at seemingly random instances the game does not register certain actions, resulting in being stuck at, for example ‘inspecting the blackboard’, ‘noting the injuries on the clipboard’ or ‘determining the cause of death’, despite having done so. As such the game is basically unplayable for me.

One of the worst horror games I've ever played, I've played roblox scary games more thrilling than this. The lore is so confusing and u only get filled in on what happens with the dead wife at the end of the game. Ridley, was so useless and was just a speaking idle prop. The entire game is just him moaning and groaning, its mildly uncomfortable. The acting and effort into the scripts didnt even match the mood of the scene. Jack is either tired and annoying, or having a panic attack screaming at himself, he never gets nervous just starts hyperventalaiting. Lastly, if u leave or the game crashes at any point in the mission, you have to restart ALL OVER AGAIN. Overall, this game is no where near entertaining and doesnt have any effort put into the making of the game

Changing keybinds does nothing. Even set as differnent keys aswd is sitll active. Money grab. Avoid

Keyboard bindings have a spot to rebind in this game, however they do not. Move Right won't even pretend to rebind to something else. This makes the game worthless and absolutely unplayable. Any developer who does not prioritize this essential function should go out of business in the gaming industry and find a new path. People playing with WASD are simps. Why that is default for anything the world may never know. It is utter stupidity. Why would you take your hand to an unnatural position on the keyboard to limit the possibilities of your left hand keys available? What is Caps Lock doing for you, when you could be using A? It would make more sense to use RDFG than WASD. That is the point of being able to rebind keys, so that a person can customize to their needs. This is basic Accessibility, as some people need to be able to do this for various reasons beyond make it more logical. Any game that keyboard binds can't be reconfigured is automatically unworthy of any positive rating.

Awesome game, great concept. i love all the game assets they are very good. the only thing is the menus constantly freeze with no way of getting back to the spot where you were making me have to replay a chapter from the very beginning, had to repeat a procedure 3x in a row. after that i quit and request a refund immediately. wouldve been a good game without the freezes.

Truly disappointing game, that has not right of being under the horror tag. It takes the Simulator part of the game to literal, to the point that the horror-aspect is not existent. If they did a game that is simply about handling Autopsy without such a lackluster story, then sure the game is alright. But they took it too far and made it unbalanced to the point where Autopsy is the only interesting thing about it!

This game had potential. Since the update in December, Its become unplayable. Still no fixes for game breaking problems and no communication from creators. If you want something similar, The Mortuary Assistant is a good game. If I didn't have the hours I have, I would've gotten a refund for this game.

the game itself at times is interesting, but the story feels rushed, and often times the random "supposed psych horror moments just fall flat"

I can see why people down-voted the game. Specially when you bought it pure to be a simulator. For those people I can say that the Autopsy only mode has been added. So those down-votes can be ignored now. After reading the comments I decided to get into it with the mindset of a walking simulator. And I actually enjoyed playing. Loved the atmosphere and body exploring. I like the idea of having a story around a morgue in this way. I have not seen this before. So that alone is a plus for me. When I tried the Autopsy only mode, I realized that the story can be seen as a really long tutorial for the real job. I hope a lot more bodies will be added in the autopsy only mode. Having fun investigating them and figuring out what happened. The bodies tell a story by themselves. . No further story line is needed. Just add more stories in the form of more bodies and I will be very happy :) Of course the down-votes are there for a reason. There are a lot of things the game can improve on. To name a few: - Hearing the main character talk to himself like NON STOP is becoming very annoying. cut that in half to make it more acceptable (or less even) . - That character is feeling way too sorry for himself. He is portrayed as a weak person addicted to pills and struggling with his emotions in regards to his dead wife. The accent on this is way ovber the top. I got tired of hearing myself (as the main character) just feeling miserable. Not something I want to listen to for hours in real life, so definitely not in game. The dude really needs to be more stable for balanced game play. He is quit pathetic. - Id the title would be sold as a " horror / investigative " walking simulator (with autopsy only mode) I think the reviews would be better. Also I would change the title to just " Autopsy" instead of the simulator added. The game could even be released in 2 titles (Autopsy and Autopsy simulator ) . appealing to 2 different kind of players. Same game, different marketing. I hope the devs read the reviews . I mainly write this as a feedback and support for them. I see the effort that has been put in the game. The mostly negative score mostly negative is not deserved imo. Devs. pls take the comments into account for future updates. This game deserves further development. ! It is fun! In a morbid kind of way lol

this game sucks. save yourself the time and dont buy this. i finished the story mode in 5 hours and the entire time it was making me do random prolonged tasks that made the game boring. this game also breaks like a mf, i had to restart this game multiple times because it wouldnt let me get out of what i was doing. also the x ray section is miserable. dont get this game guys.
