If you liked the original you'll be happy it is available on steam now - if you're new to the series you'll have to learn the controls, I did a little quick lets plays but don't judge it based on my gameplay as with more time and learning the controls the fun factor will improve. enjoy!

I suggest the First Queen series changed to auto battler style with the ability to play with other users online. The temporarily retreat system is very good, which cannot be found in other real time strategy or auto battler. Seeing characters chasing each other all over the battle field is such a wonderful experience. However, I don't suggest First Queen changed to a real time strategy which require fast reaction and excellent keyboard control. In my opinion, First Queen is best focusing on combination of characters and equipments. Auto battler is the most suitable style.

it is a good game but it has a pay to win aspect and i don't like pay to win, if they remake the sequels they better not put in the pay to win crap.

The only negative I have for this game is the lack of guide. I have enjoyed it thoroughly, and am still figuring out the unique units, and unlockables prepping for the final fight.
There is a GameFAQ out there, but it is a different translation and specific in many ways to the original 1993 release.
