The best game in the genre, too bad there is no co-op, and continuation of the story.

Days gone to me after all the zombie, survival games ive played felt like something ive wanted and ditn want at the same time, the game play felt similar to state of decay in alot of ways, but it also has its own charm, while also failing at consistency in some areas, this game was created by the same people who crated the syphon filter series and some voicelines felt very familiar of that series, the story is well written, the voice acting is a breath of fresh air, it sounds like actual people just talking and having honest reactions, deacon being out of breath after fighting a horde is a clear example. plus you get to kill newts little child zombies which is something alot of zombies game stray away from Days Gone is a great single player game there is alot of back and forth to be had though other than that fun game

Days Gone had me feeling like The Walking Dead but with a bike and way more chaos. You play as Deacon, a biker surviving in a world overrun by freakers (basically zombies but on steroids). The open world is dope riding through abandoned highways, scavenging for supplies, and dealing with random ambushes never gets old. Combat is solid, but the real challenge? Clearing hordes. bro, I swear, these freakers come at you like a tsunami, and trying to take them all down had me losing my brain sometimes. You gotta plan every move set traps, manage ammo, and run when things go south. But once you pull it off, the feeling is top tier. The story takes a while to pick up, but it gets emotional, especially with Deacon’s backstory and his ride or die attitude. The game has some slow moments, but once you're deep into it, you’re hooked. If you love open world survival with a strong story and crazy action, Days Gone is 100% worth playing.

The story line is awesome. I played from the very first scene to the last- I was hooked! Definitely want to retry this again on New+. If you love story rich gaming and fighting zombies- this game is perfect for you.

Poor writing, good gameplay, great atmosphere. If you are okay with skipping the vast majority of cutscenes and accepting the slow "walk with me" stints, this game is a solid B. Get it on sale if it's your genre

The start is slow, but as you get further in, both the game-play and the story/characters really expand and get better. Some really really amazing scenes and characters in this game. The bike is super satisfying to ride and by end game, I just stopped using fast-travel almost entirely since it was so much fun riding around. The game-play isn't anything revolutionary but what's there is solid. The stealth could be better but it's still satisfying clearing out camps using stealth-kills. Hordes are fun to tackle, even late game as resources are thin enough that you'll still be running out of materials to craft molotovs or bombs, etc. My personal favorite thing is the atmosphere of the game. You don't really lose anything on death, yet the tension, and uneasy feeling of riding/running around in the open world during night time is amazing. The open-world zombie aspect in general is really cool imo, and I haven't really played anything quite like it. The shooting is probably it's weakest part but again, it's satisfying enough that it's "fine". Other than Bandits Camps, there's not really much reason to go exploring the open-world but even then, the story and side missions take you to most of the locations in the world of importance other than a couple. Personal rating: Story: 6 (slow-burn) - 9/10 by end Game-play: 7 > 9/10 by end Mechanics: 7/10 - nothing mind-blowing or special (other than hordes) Graphics: 8.5/10 - Game still looks pretty damn good, NPC's aside from main cast could be better --- Weather system is amazing Bugs: didn't encounter ANY in *MY* play-through (70+ hours) Overall: 8/10

One of the best, if not the best zombie apocalypse and survival game I've ever played. The game map is incredibly rich in details, a lot of variety of NPCS with different dialogues and missions for each one, fantastic soundtrack, incredible graphics. The story is incredible, the beginning is a little slow but then the game improves. Unfortunately, the game paves the way for a sequel, but it was canceled due to the failure of the debut, so play knowing that some things will remain open and unexplained. 10/10

Anyone saying this game is boring or slow. it kinda was off rip. but imo it was building the bond with the characters. and after the 1st hook was put in around the 3-4 hour mark for me i had to finish the game. only to have many more hooks put in my mouth on the way to the end of the game. and every hook was better then the last. and 5ish times of where something happen that i never saw coming Has is bugs for sure but some were just funny as hell and some i just had to restart at the last checkpoint. Gameplay - 7.5/10 Story - 9/10
