This game being as old as it is could be a great game still . But it lacks any kind of wheel support . I have scoured the web for files and there are no work arounds. wont even work with an old R440 wheel I have. If you are a keyboard driver you will love it

This game is awesome! Highly recommend. It's fun for 2 player or 1 and career mode is very extensive! My only complaint is some of the tracks aren't very good but other than that it is great

A very fun dirt racing game! Sprint Cars: Road To Knoxville was developed by Big Ant Studios who also created World Of Outlaws: Sprint Cars, Short Track Racing: Trading Paint, and Sprint Cars 2: Showdown at Eldora, The graphics for this game still hold up pretty good, it's not a simulation based game so just be ready for an arcadie type game if you're interested in buying this game. Controls are pretty nice, and the career mode is very fun. For those who use to play the old Dirt Track Racing series games that were developed by Ratbag will feel at home with this game as it pretty much play's the exact same as those games.

Awesome Game , If you were a fan of DTR , Dirt Track Racing 1 and 2 , World Of Outlaws Sprint Cars , and the 2002 World Of Outlaws Sprint Cars for PS2. This was basically the last entry of that DIRT SERIES. Well worth $10 I Spent. This game does accept gaming controllers , I'm using a Generic PS4 Controller with No ISSUES. Windows 10 4GB. IT ROCKS.

For a old retro game no ones ever heard before no wonder this came in the bundle of crappy old games from so long ago. I wonder what the hell I bought that steam bundled it all together? Anyways the game is similar to a NASCAR kinda game but with dune buggies and the like. It isn't bad for a retro game and you can play it with your keyboard or watch the computer play for you. Not a bad game though. If your into racing games that is different and retro don't over look it as it is manageable and doesn't take up a lot of space. Plus all you old gamers might find it amusing.

Controller support is practically non existant and game stutters. If you want a good sprint car game, find the sprint car/dirt track racing games from Ratbag games.... they're older but so much better than this...

This is the best speedway game i ever played also i would be happy if another gaming company makes a sprint car game which is better because not much sprint car games are out and not much company makes them.

Bought it wanting to replay this classic from my childhood. Literally couldn't get the game to even start because it was immediately unresponsive. Tried every fix possible and it just wouldn't launch. Keeping in mind I'm on a modern PC with a GeForce GTX 1070Ti and Windows 10. Just a bad port, better off emulating or buying an actual PS2 copy.

This game is absolute rubbish, and completely uncontrollable. Even better, when you exit, it actually stays running in the background. All my friends thought it must be awesome, as I've logged 209 hours in the last fortnight. No, its process was just hanging around making it LOOK like I was still playing it. In reality, I gave up 5 minutes into the game as it was completely unplayable.

I personally love dirt track racing and try to watch as often as my local track run. Sprint Cars Road to Knoxville is a great game IF you love dirt track racing. The game is very specific to dirt track fans, and while not perfect, is the best one that is still readily available. Although to be frank, some playstation 2 models were indeed better games but are harder to get ahold of now. If you cannot race with a keyboard, I wouldn't bother because some seem not to work. The car sound can occasionally be garbled, and sounds bad but isn't detrimental to the gameplay itself. Also, I've seen many gripe about creating drivers taking forever. You don't have to, as long as your driving you can hire the cheapest driver and get to work. If you love dirt track racing, I think you'll find this game soothing enough to eat up some of your day. Good luck and hope this was helpful.
