This game is actually so good gang. I was a bit hesitant at first because I didn't like how one of the characters looked but they are all such cutie pies once you play, i even ended up getting the DLC for Aslan! Legit though every route made me cry at least once! I definitely recommend this!!

I really cannot express how much I enjoyed this game. I backed Peachleaf Valley, their next game, and while I was browsing their website post-kickstarter, I came across Love Spell. I've played many otome games/romance games covering a wide variety of tropes and genres, but prior to this one I'd never played one that I genuinely thought I had written in a fever dream at some point. To say I identify with the main female character (MFC) is an understatement. Little things in each route that stood out to me; MFC's secret love of singing in Jamie's route. Her unrequited childhood love in Enix's route. The wrestling scene in Marcello's route. And Florian! FLORIAN. While the writing could be a little childish at times, I truly loved each route's uniqueness - they were all truly different rather than reusing the same scene over and over like some otome games do. The banter between the characters kept me harassing my husband to come read it over my shoulder because I was bothering him with how hard I was snort-laughing. We now (proudly) yell CATCH THESE FLIPPERS at each other because Philia is a DELIGHT. I have no problem admitting that Enix's route made me bawl and stop playing (a whole four hours because I have to 'work' so I can 'afford more games' or whatever) and because I may have gone through something extremely similar in school and BOY HOWDY could I identify with their emotions. All in all, truly, if you're on the fence, please give it a go and support this studio! P.S. Great Gretuski, please elaborate on who Pierre is. I am SO interested. And creeped out. Can't wait for Sergio's route! Thank you again!
