Halo Infinite Reviews

Haven't played in a while and decided to download it to play the campaign again. Won't allow me to sign in with my Xbox account. Just get stuck in a loading loop telling me to login without a way to actually login. Tried different ways to get it to work with no success. Shit's lame.

Can't even play the game I spent $60 on. Getting the Xbox live sign in error. I've tried everything to fix it but nothing works. Been a known issue for months now and 343 hasn't done anything about it. Very obvious that they just flat out don't care about their player base. 343 has single handedly ruined Halo.

Terrible game. Buggy, overly monetized (with not a SINGLE way to get any premium currency for free), soulless, and overall just a corporate piece of slop that is not worth its free price tag. Campaign is the only redeemable part, though only if you're a big time Halo nerd. The multiplayer is alright, but suffers from major balancing issues and severe lack of spawn invincibility in every pvp gamemode, meaning spawncamping is RIDICULOUSLY easy.

Black box glitch still exists, game is unplayable currently.

I've been playing Halo since CE. I've been playing Halo Infinite since the beta. There is a lot I dislike about the game when it comes to customization (overpriced cosmetics you don't actually own when you pay for them) as well as how "skill based matchmaking" works. But, it plays well, particularly now that a lot of the issues have been fixed. It's a free to play halo multiplayer experience, and it does actually feel pretty "halo" now. Let's hope the next game does it right from the beginning.

GAME?[/b] Where is the campaign that breaks me like Reach? Where is the multiplayer that becomes religion like Halo 3? Where is the map that makes me cry out "ONE FLAG ON ZANZIBAR" at 2AM? [b]They gave me a sandbox. They forgot to put a war in it.[/b] Open world? Cool. Until you realize it’s the same three enemy camps, same objectives, same banished chatter on loop. Cortana? Gone. Emotions? Derailed. Story? Disjointed. And then came the [b]battle passes[/b], the [b]FOMO cosmetics[/b], the [b]armor coatings that cost more than my dignity[/b]. The “live service” that died before it even lived. The content drought that made deserts look humid. [h2]The Chief is not a Fortnite skin. He is NOT seasonal content. He is a goddamn monument of discipline and violence, and you [b]put him in a store tab.[/b][/h2] I played Infinite. I wanted to love it. I TRIED to love it. But all I could hear was Halo 2 whispering: [i]“I need a weapon.”[/i] And Infinite replying: [b]“That’ll be 1800 credits.”[/b] [b]5/10. Not for the Chief — he’s perfect. But for what you did to him.[/b] [hr] [b]We finished the fight. We built the legend. And you tried to turn it into a storefront.[/b] You don’t kill a Spartan. But you sure as hell [i]can disgrace him.[/i]

It won't let me play the game because it wants me to sign into my xbox live profile but doesn't give me the option to log in. I did all sorts of troubleshooting, including deleting xbox live credentials. An xbox game on the xbox comptuer not working. Absolute trash.

I can excuse the egregious shop prices because I simply wont buy anything, but I cant excuse the punishing, chore-like PVP gameplay loop. Give us the freedom to choose whether or not we win in PVP again and I might come back. the current SBMM is beyond broken.

Fix the sign-in loop. The workarounds provided on the Halo support site did not work. I paid money for this game's single player campaign, I should not be locked out of it via an online log-in error.

Campaign is really fun to play, but the story felt a bit AI generated. Multiplayer is great, but it gets boring. 7.5/10 (massive let down for a halo game though, expected a much better story)
