A fun simple escape room, a little like The Room games

Had so much fun playing! Lovely atmosphere and fun puzzles. I recommend playing, and overall enjoyed myself BUT there were a few major drawbacks:
a) I definitely got stuck on a few puzzles (the autoclave in particular sticks out) where I had figured out the in-game process to solve it, but got tripped up on the UI, and couldn't figure out how to actually perform the action. So a few times I ended up scouring rooms for additional clues or items because the I thought that there must be some other way to solve a puzzle. The hints obviously cleared this up when the search started to be more frustrating than fun though!
b) there are A LOT of things to interact with/view that are superfluous to the gameplay. I wish I had more reason to interact with the paintings or that opening drawers was a little more rewarding. OR that there were fewer of both.
c) the camera movement and perspective could be a little dizzying sometimes, and this came back to bite me when one of the puzzles required knowing where the rooms in the house are in relation to one another
d) the movements needed to interface with some items were challenging. now, i was playing with a touchpad, so I thought this was a me issue BUT after reading some other reviews it seems like this was an issue even for people using a mouse. Most of the reason I bring this up is that it's pretty minor, and like I mentioned, feels about like trying to use a touchpad for something intended to be used with a mouse. If you're usually willing to have a little bit of friction in your gameplay, I don't think this will bother you at all.
However, it's much much easier to talk about things that went wrong than things that went well. This game clearly has a lot of heart and soul, and I enjoyed playing immensely. If you enjoy this style of game I would definitely recommend it.
