This could have been such an amazing game. It takes place in a lovely open environment that you roam around in, there are different events that you encounter with different enemies, and the combat has potential.
But there are so many terrible design decisions that ruin the game for me.
Why is it so clunky and unresponsive? Why can't I change the controls? Why are there only two positions to fight from (right side / left side)? Why are the events so slowwww? Why is it so grindy and forces you to redo 3 events before getting to a boss that is very hard to hit? Why are the selections done with the fighting mechanics instead of just a menu? Why can I accidentally skip an event because I was trying to progress dialogue and I hit the wrong option? Why is it so hard to gauge the range of my attack? Why can't I fast forward dialogue? Why won't the other girl just shut up?
If you're patient give this a try, I think the price is definitely low enough to justify that. Otherwise I don't think you would put up with these issues for long.

A very fun game. My only problem with it is just not being able to skip bosses and being punished for skipping enemies/events etc. I would say its a buy when its on sale.
