Very fun game. Would love to see more mission types, enemies and more base structures/upgrades for the late game. I'm currently on day 90 or so and feeling like there isn't much more for me to do to improve my tower, so I don't have much reason to keep going. Its quite unforgiving however, and for context I'm an avid gamer and usually happy to start a new game on hard. However I found myself having to restart this campaign once before I could beat the day 50 boss and I can see from some forum posts and reviews it was even harder for some others. When you fall behind and fail some missions (easy when you're experimenting on your first playthrough as some units and buildings seem to suck) it becomes VERY difficult to recover. If this is intentional then there needs to be more permanent progression and randomness in a run (like a roguelike). Restarting the campaign was very boring for me, glad I did it so I got to try out the more powerful weapons, turrets and units, but I wouldn't blame anyone for quiting.

Has had a problem with mouse cursors for years and hasn't done a bug fix. This alone is a reason for me to refund. I will pay $0 for games that have bugs on launch that you need to tinker to fix.

A very good conecpt for a game and good graphics, but the game time is too short, maximum playtime is 10 hours probably.

Solid little tower defense game. Played on Hard, which felt like the right setting - challenging but not unfair. Fairly large tech tree, didn't realize how OP the missiles were until later in the game. Mechanics around healing and what happens if something is destroyed isn't very clear at first but pretty easy to figure out. All around, good balance fun to play and worth the time (~11 hours to beat on hard).

Don't buy, has less than 10 hours of game play, minimal repeatability, and the dev has been completely silent for the past almost 18 months, not worth the price, not worth 35% off not worth 50% off, an amazing concept, im really disappointed is been abandoned, ill try to get a refund but doubt that will happen, I hope the dev is in good health but am very upset about the lack of content on such an amazing idea.

I want to like the game. The only problems i have that i personally cannot stand is having to cursors, which can only be fixed by changing your resolution and not being able to move around the research tree where the tabs are blocking the skills or just not being able to see them because they are off the screen. The game is find if you can deal with those problems, but i am not going to fight it.

9/10 for Tower Defence Taur is a tower defense, shooter and strategy game hybrid with a sci-fi setting. The technologically advanced but peaceful world of Taurea refuses to share its knowledge with the militaristic Empire: this situation becomes a casus belli to warrant a full-scale invasion of the planet. Entrusted with complete control over the Prime Cannon, an experimental Tauri battle fortress, players will have to face increasingly difficult battles, manage resources, plan technology research and ultimately defeat the Overlord in command of the invading army. 🔵 Pros Successful mix of three different genres that delivers a varied and interesting gameplay from start to end. Good amount of weapons, towers, abilities and upgrades to deploy and research throughout the campaign. Spectacular battles with even hundreds of enemies to fight against at the same time. Simple but pleasant visual style with some destructibility, physics and high quality sci-fi effects. Well designed and paced progression system that scales difficulty as the game progresses almost perfectly. 🔴 Cons Weapon upgrade system relies too much on luck and can be frustrating. Enemy variety is mediocre: around halfway through the game you will already have seen all possible foes. Some balance problems with weapons, abilities and towers, with some being excellent and others borderline useless.
