The camera angle sucks and gets in your way when jumping or moving. The way the devs set up crystals, which you need for abilities, to be too high until you get certain abilities is a chore - especially when the things you are using that you achieved to use put you in the opposite direction you want, or the things you need to jump on are set up in an entirely wrong order. The circular motion of certain areas must be a pet thing of the devs and also made things a ridiculous chore if you fell and had to climb 3 levels to get back to where you were. It was great getting into spots that were impossible to move out of unless the game was closed, did they test? And, it's been great moving into walls/solid objects, always a favorite. This could have been a really great game and I've been having some fun playing it, but then there is the BS that comes along and ruins the experience.

Fe is one of the most visually unique games i've ever played and i've played a lot. Most of the time the outlandish art styles are reserved for sidescrollers or top down games but Fe has a gorgeous 3D aesthetic that's well realized. At times it almost feels like a colourfull 3D limbo, which is not something i would have thought i wanted but Fe's artstyle was love at first sight. It is easily the game's strongest feature but don't sleep on the soundtrack either. It works in tandem with the visuals to make an entrancing and captivating magical world ripe for exploring. Exploring in this game felt fun and relaxing but going for 100% is on the harder side given all the nooks and crannies. The central mechanics and themes are nothing we haven't seen before but that doesn't mean they're bad in any way, shape or form. Fe can be a goood comfort game, pallete cleanser or just serve as an escape between all the action games well all play constantly. Worth a purchase despite being published by one of the scummiest companies.
