Fucking awesome game. Indirect storytelling and lore that rewards observant players. Cute retro visuals. Makes you WANT to take pictures of the stuff you see. A few things can be a little tricky, but it's worth your time. Amaaazing soundtrack, I listen to it all the time. The DLC is great too.

Super enjoyable game that's absolutely worth getting, and don't be warded off by the bugged achievement- the fix / workaround for this is incredibly easy and took me like, 3 minutes.
There isn't much handholding in terms of the story, but if you play it enough you can piece it together and it makes for a grim but real atmosphere. I'd wished the NPCs could be talked to!
Super fun to mess around with and potentially make yourself some really dope backgrounds.

Such an interesting concept and the gameplay is really fun for someone who likes taking photos! Also, I may be biased, but the game being set in Aotearoa/New Zealand makes it extra awesome. I haven't finished it yet, but I love it already!
That said, the controls are kinda janky, and sometimes things get a bit weird - getting stuck in places, being catapulted into the air for no reason etc. If these are fixed the game would be perfect imo.

The only drawbacks I can mention are that physics are a bit clunky and maybe the graphics are a bit too low-poly for a photography game. But the rest makes up for that: pretty interesting and diverse environments that visually narrate a cynical view of the future, accompanied by a banger soundtrack.
It's exciting to gradually open your possibilities by unlocking new equipment and editing options. Each stage proposes clear goals you need to accomplish to advance to the next stage, and a few optional goals that unlock additional equipment, but it's quite easy and enjoyable to just wander around and get lost taking pics of whatever.
I'd recommend it to anyone even slightly interested in photography who enjoys games about just wandering. It's worth the price, more so on sale.
