Precision Puzzle Platformer

I wanted to love this game. The pixel art is cute, if a little rough. The pacifist ethos is admirable (the only time you "kill" anything is to reset enemy states). But in the harder rooms the puzzling tends to require a level of precision that the controls can't quite handle, leading to a disappointing tedium until the controls and targeting do what you're actually trying to do. Add in some baffling design decisions (why do forest enemies take 2 hits to transform?), and a painfully tedious 4th "boss" (beat 7 rooms without dying while fighting the loose controls and brand new gimmicks that are never seen again), and you're left with a game that's only OK when it could have been great.
I don't regret my time with the game, but I think this one is mostly just for pixel platformer purists.
