It has access to one of the old versions so, it is already a good deal.

I'm sorry. I just couldn't get into this one. Definitely missed the boat for sure. 5 years ago i would've recommended it but certainly not these days.

Please make the loot spawn more fitting to locations (easier medical supplies in hospitals and homes), and more generous. Magazines are very hard to come by. Also make the temperature drop slower. It's wayy to fast.

First of all I need to share that if this game will have more players it can be more fun. As I searched about game I saw this game was for Facebook. Gameplay is such a smilar with EFT but looting is more easier and becomes boring after searched same places. Still need to wait for full version. Maybe it can be low graphics EFT for lower system computers.

DOES THE GAME WORK? Let me start this review by saying that the game works flawlessly at the time of writing (March 25, 2023) – there are no issues with starting the game in Windows 10 64-bit or joining a gameplay session (there is no server list to choose from, you just click PLAY). Graphics look very nice from afar (but you can tell that many textures are low resolution from nearby), and the game runs very smoothly on an M.2 SSD, Ryzen 5600X, nVidia GTX 1660 Ti, and 32 GBs of RAM.

IS MULTIPLAYER DEAD? Well, yes and no. In fact, if you don’t particularly care for multiplayer, you’ll like this game: I rarely come across other players (but I have met a couple of very friendly ones), so it’s mostly me, the cold, survival, and the odd wild animal (wolf, bear) or mutant (such as dead wolves and vampires).

HOW IS THE GAMEPLAY? Sweet! I found this game to scratch many itches. It is a first-person game, and it is done quite well, so I found it very immersive. It reminded me of the Far Cry games in that way. The snow and the cold reminded me of the Long Dark, although much simpler. The survival reminded me of DayZ, although you will locate food and drink more easily, and you don’t have to do mental gymnastics to light a fire. To drive a car, all you have to do is supply it with a battery and fuel. Driving around the Siberian landscape is a lot of fun. Dying is not an extremely punishing experience. You can be well set up a couple of hours after you respawn, so the frustration aspect of DayZ is absent.

HOW ABOUT THE INTERFACE? The user interface is minimal, but works very well. The inventory, its management, and the (very limited) crafting are straightforward and, again, work flawlessly.

ANY GRIEVANCES? Regrettably, there’s no in-game map (nor is there a mini-map display in the interface), but the compass readings are displayed at the top of the screen, which I thought was well designed and in keeping with the minimal interface. Occasionally you come across some live electronic boards (like moving ad boards) that show the map, so that's somewhat helpful. Another minor complaint is that, in order to load a weapon with bullets, you must first find the correct type of magazine, so you wind up finding many guns and magazines, but not the correct type. Reloading is realistic but time-consuming, since you must manually drag the appropriate sort of ammunition to the magazine, and then drag the loaded magazine to the weapon slot in the inventory. Pressing R to reload only changes magazines (rather than directly reloading a gun with bullets), with the exception of the shotgun, which has no magazine. So, for most guns, it's a good idea to keep two magazines, so you can reload one when the other has emptied.

FEATURES THAT I WOULD LIKE TO SEE ADDED? I would love to see in the game the option to sleep – nights would pass quickly, and the added challenge of finding a safe location to sleep would be fun.

OVERALL ASSESSMENT? Very positive! It has become one of my favorite games, particularly for going in, playing for an hour, and then returning to my life. I definitely recommend purchasing it, especially when on sale (2.99 euros).

Hello, I, like you most likely reading this article, are fans of some degree by the game known commonly as "Survival: Postapocalypse Now" by TBGames; a game set in a post apocalyptic world hosted in Siberia and the only means to survive is to hunt, the motto "kill or be killed" thrives. When I first came across the game was in the summer of 2015; both my friend and I were bored senseless and looking for something to play that didn't require high specifications and demand alot of computer power. We came across the perfect combo in Survival: Postapocalypse Now - Low Price, Low Required Specs and a game that relies on teamwork for success. The game was perfect, albeit the social aspect outside of my friend and myself was minimal providing the main players were of different nationalities but that didn't bother us, it was always an enjoyable experience. During the first few weeks of the game, my friend and I played it collectively for over 200 hours between us, we never got bored and every day was a new adventure. Eventually, about a year or so after this we stopped playing due to the lack of updates and direction from the developers, and moved on but every so often I would always come back and see how it's doing. Survival: Postapocalypse Now has been completely reformatted, the UI has been upgraded massively and it's rekindled the player count to its former days; which is great to see. I played it with my good friend, who has became a brother in the long run and our friendships have been bounded by this game. I've also noticed that you've released "Survival Classic," which had me excited beyond belief - I thought, based on the word Classic, it would honour the foundations of the game; the simplistic User Interface, the easibility of navigation and the lack of complication. As bizarre as it seems, you haven't paid homage to any of the elements the old version had - the User Interface arguably the exact same as the current version of "Survival: Postapocalypse" aswell as the NPCs, the arsenal etc. So what is so Classic about this? When I associate the term "Classic" with "Survival: Postapocalypse Now" I think of the first map everyone spawned into, I think of the only NPC in the game being ravaging dogs which hound you every so often, I think of the grind of getting a vehicle on the go, I think of the simplistic and easy User Interface and I think of the Cat in a Jar. The thing I miss most about the Classic Survival is the map, the map was simplistic yet large, several unique landmarks to identify where you are and how you can easily find your friends. I think of the commonity of running into players who aren't loaded with heavy machinery ready to blow your brains out. TBGames, I am QuinnyZ on Steam (LetsDoTheRyan) I have dedicated HOURS into your game, and my friend has done the same. We both share these thoughts. Don't do a cheap copy and paste effort and try to double your sales with two different names for two different prices expecting people like me to pay for it, I've fallen victim to this, and I feel insulted that a franchise I have put so much passion into, the game that has set the foundations for my transition from a boy into a man has thought they could get away with something like this. People who trusted the classic element to pay homage to what it once was has reported your title for fraud; is that how you really want to go down? I will keep the game "Survival Classic" for now, in hopes you listen to me on, I'm sure, the majority of your fanbase who has been playing the Survival Game for many years. Amend the Survival Classic game to what it's supposed to truly represent. Thank you. TB Games I have attempted soullessly for many hours to attempt to find some sort of form of contact for you; but I couldn't find anything - this is all I could think of at this point.
