Somehow this game didn't feel like the other three.
If you liked Alice Versus the Darkness / The fight for survival / Edge of your seat moments?: Good on ya. Ain't much of that here. Maybe just once. A little bit at the end of the main story... And even then... It isn't against THE Darkness.
Uncle: NOPE! No focus on on him. At all. No damn resolution! (There is a part... But you gain nothing towards the "Uncle" part).
Ray: Yay! He is in it and then he is not. Completely "incapacitated'. BOO. FREAKING BOO!!!!!!!!!
You like the guy who drove the airship? Well, he got the same deal as Ray.
You wanted to learn more about the Firebird? / The pasts of other characters? / Darkness? / Mother? / Powers? / Anything that made the other three games interesting? None of that!
But...! If you wanted a Medusa storyline........... HERE YOU GO! Why..................?! Also... Camilla? And that other dude...? Why were they even in this game.........?
Ugh... Let's look at the other parts: Backgrounds are still cool/pretty. Roger looks like a cotton swab. Some Morphing Objects weren't easy to find, but overall none of them were hidden all that well. There were some language issues too: "PEN" instead of "KNOB". Eh...
Mini-games? Okay... They had some savage ones. Cool. At least they still had some brain power to create some intense puzzles.
Everything else? Like I already said... NOT THE SAME! I came here for the continuation of the three previous games! I got none of it.
Sure I got my H.O.G. in... But what made these games great was the story... The desire to survive... Will they make it or not? What happens next? How will it all end?! Nah! They didn't even bother with the "story scrolls" either!
With how much effort was put in: I don't even care to replay the game itself or get any other Achievements.
So... If all you want is to play some more H.O.G./H.O. scenes in this style........... And that is your one and only goal? Well......... I suppose you can...
Otherwise... This one will just be known as "Darkness and Flame: The Side Mission / Filler". -.-"""""""""
