Art is good, story is inoffensive, however gameplaywise i would rather play other run'n'guns cause this one just felt irritating at times.

A fun run'n'gun! Played it entirely on Steam Deck and it ran flawlessly.
(+) Great presentation. Not only the graphics but the overall presentation is really nice.
(+) Standard and tight controls that work well for the game.
(+) it's a run n gun and it's good. That's rare these days
(+) Not very hard but also not a cake walk. I enjoyed the difficulty
(+) Bosses were fun except...
(-) the midboss where you have to throw it on the lava is some serious bs, not enjoyable at all
(-) the weapon balance is all over the place. I only found a few of them to be actually useful.
(-) movement options were not very well explored (well, dash and double jump are always useful as expected)

A classic 2d Shooter in the spirit of Contra. A little too talky at the beginning but a short game that doesn't overstay its welcome. At the right price this is a good one to pick up if you like shooting and running to the right. Check it out!

I hate to say this but this game should have been an animated series, the 'cutscenes' are just the sprites on idle and always on the same background, the whole action comes with the dialogue and dialogue portraits, and like 90% of the backgrounds on the game look drab wich is weird because the character and monster design is on point wich is why I actually would have prefer this to be a cartoon show, I feel these great designs weren't exploited at all. (I mean come on, not even statics CGs? I'm not asking for something like the excelent intro the game had just a bit more fun with the setting).
On the gameplay side of things, it's fun if kinda short and believe me the boring backdrops for the levels didn't help much on that, but again the design on the main characters is what pulls all the weight as both characters are very distinctive and fun (though one of the guy's weapons 'the football bomb' has such a high damage output that I believe that it's a honest to goodness mistake) and the bosses are gorgeous to look at and fun... the levels not so much, and SCREW level 4, ALL OF LEVEL 4.
But yeah TL;DR: Fun and very short game, character design is gorgeous, everything else is just boring.
