This game was very frustrating. Lots of bugs glitches and lag. The puzzles were way too difficult. Too much text and reading also. A decent buy under $5 though. Using guides I managed to make it to the end.

Love the puzzles and story. Game also runs smoothly and looks nice. There's a lot of content too. Haven't finished it yet, but I'm already playing it a few hours longer than most games for this price.

I bought this survival horror game for just a few dollars and it's a very nice one! The game is focus on a captivating story and an oppressive athmosphere. The gameplay is classic with a flashlight system, some stats to mind (sanity, health, stamina and battery), some jumpscares and a lot of puzzles solving (Maybe too much). Sounds and graphics are really nice but It's a shame that some parts of the UI look really cheap (I talk about the inventory and some HUD effects). The game runs smooth on my RTX 2060 and I don't noticed a lot of bugs, just sometimes with the AI system. The game don't take very long time to finish (~ 7 hours) but it's ok for the price. I can recommand it for the interesting story and the frightening athmosphere.

Feels terribly mediocre. You can tell the dev gave a shit about his product and all but it just feels like a project that felt includes a bunch of gameplay features without setting itself apart from being an experience worth recommending. Also an inventory system with an unnecessary number of survival bars needing to keep tabs on to ensure you don't expire prematurely (food, health, sanity, flashlight battery). I could understand the health, flashlight battery okay fine but really? Did we need the other two to have numerous consumables laying around to fill up the larger than needed dull maps with something to collect.

Shows promise, but terrible execution. UI is awful - especially when the fear, health and strength filter effects muddy up your screen making i t difficult to see anything, overuse of enemy mobs make it laughably frustrating. Meters for "strength" and fear should just be removed entirely as It only acts as a hinderance, doesn't add any value or immersion. Do yourself a favor if you do decide to play this: increase FOV to 90 from the default 70 (yuck), turn shadows to low otherwise everything is pitch black without your flashlight turned on (and batteries are very hard to come by), turn all difficulties to low. You'll thank me later.

After a stressful amount of reloading at the checkpoints I can finally review this game in depth. First and foremost, this game is made by one person so do not be quick to judge the content based on glitches or bugs. Second, the game becomes slightly more difficult as you progress. My rating overall is 6/10 because there was a learning curve I had to overcome by looking up how to solve some of the puzzles. Most of the puzzles require you to pick up an item and take it to another location where it is placed or crafted. Indeed, most the time you will be walking or sprinting. The graphics are amazing, but you can definitely see some rough edges or lines around the clipping of certain objects and surroundings. Took me about seven hours to complete from start to finish with a good amount of reloading saves because I either made a mistake or struggled to pass the level. The story line is decent, not the best, but the ending was definitely interesting to visualize. Due to the fact, the story pieces everything that happened throughout the game in suitable way. There are many things that I can recommend to be fixed such as the spelling errors and specific clip brushes around the map. Some of the sentences are worded in a basic way especially towards the end of the game; mostly noticed this in a few chapters where they would be a detail of the past events where Simon is talking to you. The artificial intelligence for the enemy is decent, but can be improved. Like they can be made to feel less like robots walking in a straight line. When the enemy chases you remember to not get yourself stuck in a corner or dead end (hallway) because you will die. If there was a way to make it so the character can heal without opening the menu such as the letter H on the keyboard. Some of the binds for the guns were unacceptable due to the fact some of those buttons are not on my keyboard. I personally would recommend setting it to 1, 2, 3, 4 on the keyboard. Other then that the game was interesting and definitely worth the price tag, but I can see where the bugs or glitches can be nerve racking. Also there were a good amount of boring parts like in the bigger areas of the game. The other thing I struggled with is the direction because it's easy to forget what you need to do or how to solve the next puzzle. The notes did help, but there are still a few parts of the game where I would have never figured out what to do if I did not use the walk through. If you have any questions or would like to address my concerns feel free to comment below. Finally, I streamed this game live on Twitch and if you would like to see the highlights come over to my channel.

The people who left bad reviews clearly never played any other indie games of this kind, because this game is one of the better ones. I agree that it's a lot walking sim, but it has pretty good jumspcares, I like that you need to take care of your stats and it's never too hard and everything of the puzzles can be solved if you just look around you. I can recommend it for good scares, some stealth parts and an interesting story.

When I purchased this I thought it was going to end up being a little pricey for what you get in return but after playing it for over 2 hours (and still am not sure if I'm close to the finish or not) I've got to say - it's turning out much better than I originally anticipated. This is not a AAA game that's going to blow you away with it's graphics but what it does have is an incredibly compelling story that has kept me on the edge of my seat for over 2 hours so far. There's quite a lot of information to unpack and yet somehow it still manages to keep the mystery going at this point in the game. Considering the likely low budget for this game I'm sincerely shocked at how well it manages to keep the main mystery of the game just out of reach. There are a few minor issues at the time of this writing. I was able to proceed to chapter 3 without an essential item from chapter 2. That's supposed to be fixed via a patch from what I understand. There's a code you have to find at one point that really blends in well with the surrounding area so I feel like the color needs to be corrected just a little bit there but honestly those are my only two complaints at this point. I'm just now getting to a point where I have a weapon and supposedly there are 4 weapons total so I imagine there's still a good bit of game left but I'll update this review when I've had a chance to play further. All in all, I've had a fantastic experience with it so far and I feel comfortable recommending it at this point. If you're still on the fence, go ahead and check out my video series and decide for yourselves if this is something you think you might like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LTqfhJNrJqU&list=PL08FwntTpxPBl5O9Vo8Ugb4FL-N5i7blu

Pros: Graphics are ok, Sounds is ok. Cons: Just about everything else. I'm not sure what all of the positive reviews are going on about aside from people trying to promote their youtube, are obvious fake accounts with 1-2 games on their profiles, or people that got the game for free, but honestly this game is poorly done and unoriginal. The plot is the same drab concept of "Missing kid/go find them in creepy place." which is fine if the majority of your gameplay wasnt just a hallway simulator. Every puzzle consists of "Walk into room, get key item, walk back" which was already played out when doom did it in 1993. The first "Puzzle" was walking along a fence until an icon told you could cut the fence after which you dispose of your bolt cutter for reasons? The next part requires you to follow along a trench filled with barb wire. Barb wire that could be cut with a bolt cutter which your character decided to throw away after cutting the fence. Then you reach the land mines where you have to look for a spray painted X to guide you through...or just look at the obvious path of missing land mines since none of them are buried. After that puzzles consist of either finding a code which is written in an obvious place or finding an item which dropped in an obvious place. The combat is atrocious. Ignoring the fact that some enemies cant be killed (Which the game doesnt tell you until you start trying to kill them) and other enemies take way to many bullets to kill, the way your character draws, holsters, reloads, and fires the guns makes no sense. Its not something I would normally nit pick but even 5 minutes of research would show that the character is handling a revolver not only incorrectly but in an almost inhuman way. I want to comment on the enemy A.I. but I honestly can not figure out what it is suppose to do. Sometimes enemies cant walk through doorways other times they can, sometimes they will shut the door and walk away other times they will open the door and pursue you, sometimes they will just walk away if you walk into a doorway other times they will stand outside and stare at you, sometimes they will never leave an air duct, sometimes you can walk past them and nothing at all will happen. I have no idea what the enemy A.I. is suppose to do so I cant comment on what part of it is wrong. Aside from getting stuck in a few parts or managing the get outside of the map in several locations their are not too many bugs. I see what this game was going for. Government scientist are bad guys that are doing experiments on people save your daughter, friends, wife etc etc. but if you are going with a concept like that you need to have more substance to game than just running in circles and picking up keys. ***EDIT*** Since the dev feels that playing more than half the game isnt sufficient Ive decided to finish the game just to give you all a full review. After chapter 8 you are greeted to a lot more content! Like a magic machine gun that can clip through any box and kill enemies with ease! Also the enemy A.I. Improves significantly by adding two main features! One, the enemies cannot figure out to hit you behind a box so they will waste all of the ammo they have just hitting the box allowing you to kill them easily with your magic clipping machine gun. Second, and my favorite, the A.I. (Who couldnt find you after you walked into an air duct right in front of them) now have a problem hitting you after you climb into a dumpster even though you are but mere inches from them. And best yet! MORE HALLWAYS! Honestly from beginning to end this is a boring hallway walking simulator game which definitely does not take more than 10 hours. You walk from a to b to get an item than walk from b to a to use item in said location. The plot is drab, the game play is drab, and every chapter blends together. Braid was a one person project, Cave story was a one person project, hell, even minecraft was a one person project. I understand the game is not perfect but there is no reason to call a game complete and slap a 15$ price tag on it. (Minecraft was 20$ on release just fyi.) Also please dont put in a puzzle where you have to MAKE gunpowder when I have bullets. If you were unaware bullets contain gunpowder.
