Once again, Freebird Games made me sob. But I guess that's why I buy their games, so kudos to them! I was honestly sceptical when I read about this game having stuff related to a "time-loop," but it ended up being pretty fun and interesting in its own right. Like with their other games, Impostor Factory's story is super touching and I love the art style. Definitely recommended if you like emotional story games :)

Just finished Impostor Factory, part of the To the Moon series and the sequel to Finding Paradise. This game continues to carry the torch of high quality writing and music set by it's predecessors. At first glance, it doesn't appear to be a direct sequel but the story does tie into the rest of the franchise in a very satisfying way. I can't wait to see what comes next.

the not-quite-ending but still the third main game in the trilogy of one of the best series ever made

Another amazing, brain-bending, emotional game from Freebird Games. They never fail to make a masterpiece. This one is a different vibe to To The Moon and Finding Paradise - more weird mystery than the previous entries, and the twists are... Well, they're something else! Get this game. Play it. Then play it again! And then play the other games in the series, because they're all some of the best games I have played.

This game really shook things up from what came before, using both plot points and mechanics from the prior games to make something that stands out. It does a great job of shaking up the setting and leaving fans what will happen next (just make sure to have played the prior games first, or it won't make much sense).

Great game. "To the Moon" is the best but this one also has a good story and music. Just be warned this has very little game play. You just walk and pick up some things. The story just unfolds as you do things. You can play this one then To the Moon or vice versa. There story is connected. I give it 7.5 just because there is very little gameplay. If I rate it for just the story and connection to "To the Moon" it's a 8/10 for me.

Was a solid story game, the addition of jogging was the cherry on top.

It was good. Maybe not as good as To The Moon, but good nevertheless.
Be prepared for a lot of jokes that sometimes fall flat, but the story is engaging and the characters are charming. I even teared up a little at the end.

This is the best game in the series so far hands down. It looks the best, it sounds the best and it plays the best. It really is a huge jump in quality over the first two, but PLAY THEM IN ORDER, as this game is insanely cryptic without context. Kan Gao my beloved you sexy beast you really out-did yourself on the story this time.
Anybody looking at the handful of negative reviews, just play them in order and cozy down for this one. You aren't playing for revolutionary gameplay, you're playing for a legendary series that will draw many MANY tears. Don't rush, and TAKE YOUR TIME, as you should stop to appreciate the story, not dash through because of some small cliffhanger earlier on, as it will reveal itself less linearly like a book and more like a detective flow chart helping the player figure out wtf is going on overall; and once everything falls into place at the end, you get one of the most beautiful conclusions ever.

Worst game in the series in my opinion, but that doesn't mean it is bad. Still an incredible game. 9/10
