TL;DR - 8/10 - Cute little family-friendly single-player exploration/collectathon game. Adorable and mostly non-violent, should be appropriate for all ages. Not a must-play, but enjoyable. And now... a "little" more. ... Do you see what I did there? ... Do... do you see what I did there? ... Do you see---- ADORABLE AND WHOLESOME This game caught my eye after I finished Untitled Goose Game with a friend as being something in the same vein, and I was not disappointed, though I enjoyed goose mischief ever so slightly more. Little Kitty, Big City is cute, enjoyable, and wholesome. Little Kitty can't die (I tried, because I'm a psychopath). Violence in the game is limited to Little Kitty accidentally (or intentionally) tripping people in the street and causing many of them to fall flat on their face (which I did... repeatedly, because... again... psychopath). Unlike Untitled Goose Game, there is dialogue between the animals. It's all pretty adorable. I had to reach to try to make any of it sound dirty. The worst I got was a dog talking about its lost balls. It's talking about tennis balls, but of course... I got creative with photo mode... (What part of psychopath didn't you understand?) GAMEPLAY In all seriousness, though... the developers advertise this as a wholesome, adorable, chill cat exploration/collectathon, and they delivered on a wholesome, adorable, chill cat exploration/collectathon. You wander around the map completing a to-do list (quests) and challenges and you gain new abilities and in-game features (like photo mode, which you can use to make double entendres like a 12-year-old when a certain dog talks about his lost tennis balls). Challenges consist of completing specific tasks, like making someone trip over a banana peel or recycling 100 cans. It's all very chill and non-strenuous. The weirdest bit is that the game introduces a fast-travel network, and while it's cute and fun... the map is really too small to warrant a fast-travel network. Traveling between one point and another will take you literally an extra minute (after you unlock running) so there's really no reason to use it aside from achievement hunting. Platforming and cat-movement is very cat-like, though there is just the tiniest bit of artisan jank. GLITCHES AND JANK The most egregious glitch I encountered was after digging through a particular trash can. I went to pick up my items, and Little Kitty suddenly flew up into the air and landed on an invisible wall above the railroad tracks. It was amusing, but it was clearly a case of artisan jank. I was able to jump down, though, and Little Kitty cannot die, so his guts were NOT splattered around the pavement when I did so (I told you I tested it). Pedestrians have a tendency to materialize in the distance or disappear so that you just see a floating bagel and then, suddenly, they decloak. Birds appear to be able to fly through walls and no clip frequently through buildings. There is also one spot on a high building where a texture doesn't appear to be complete. That said, most of these are just nitpicks as the game runs pretty smoothly and I didn't have any major crashes or game breaking issues with it. All of the achievements worked for me, and I was able to do them in under 7 hours. OVERALL This game is exactly what it says it is: a cute little family-friendly single-player exploration/collectathon. It's not a must-play, but I do give it a strong recommendation, especially for kids, cat lovers, and people looking to destress. 8/10

This game is just so wholesome, fun, and full of content! Cat lovers should play this just by law but others would enjoy this too. I love putting this on when I don't want to get in a heavy game. Plus finding all the hats and other animals is a plus. I will definitely take my time playing this because it just has so much replayable value.

Short and short little cozy game that's cute as heck. As the owner of a black cat, it's also super accurate.

Entirely too adorable NOT to play. Cute kitty, fun quests and humorous dialogue - this is the dopamine hit you're after.

10/10, the game is quite short, even when getting all the achievements, yet despite the short playtime, it's really fun all the way through. If I fits, I sits!

Very cute game that I enjoyed a lot, runs flawlessly on the steam deck, however I do think it's best to get it on discount as the price is a bit steep for such a short adventure with not much reason to keep playing. I got it during summer sale because I read about a very big update being in the works, so I hope that will increase playtime a bit and give some incentive to keep playing after the stories. Took a bit over 4 hours to get all achievements, but can be done faster if you first look up what you need, they were fun to do as it led to some hilarious interactions of stealing peoples soda cans and making them fall and steal their phone to throw it in the toilet if they refused to take a picture of me

best kitty game ever. You can pounce and run and play as a cat in the city & make friends.

This game is pretty cute and I'd say quite straightforward. However, some of the achievements are annoying to get (like the litter picker), but if you don't really care about achievements I guess it doesn't matter. It happened way too often that it felt like the controls were working against me. I fell down from a lot of houses just because the cat suddenly jumped off instead of walking along the path. For a cosy little game I would probably recommend it if that is your thing, the cat and creatures are pretty cute and the story very simple. If you like to be a little menace it's always fun to make the humans fall face down on the ground lmao
