A lovely game. Sitting down in the evening with a cup of tea and a cute cat is a wonderful feeling. 11 cats out of 10.

Very fun cozy short cat game with plenty of entertainment. Relaxing simple game really enjoyed. The only downside was the movement can be glitchy at times and you get stuck but they have a feature in the game where can unstick yourself.

This game is pretty cute and I'd say quite straightforward. However, some of the achievements are annoying to get (like the litter picker), but if you don't really care about achievements I guess it doesn't matter. It happened way too often that it felt like the controls were working against me. I fell down from a lot of houses just because the cat suddenly jumped off instead of walking along the path.
For a cosy little game I would probably recommend it if that is your thing, the cat and creatures are pretty cute and the story very simple. If you like to be a little menace it's always fun to make the humans fall face down on the ground lmao

Very cute game that I enjoyed a lot, runs flawlessly on the steam deck, however I do think it's best to get it on discount as the price is a bit steep for such a short adventure with not much reason to keep playing.
I got it during summer sale because I read about a very big update being in the works, so I hope that will increase playtime a bit and give some incentive to keep playing after the stories.
Took a bit over 4 hours to get all achievements, but can be done faster if you first look up what you need, they were fun to do as it led to some hilarious interactions of stealing peoples soda cans and making them fall and steal their phone to throw it in the toilet if they refused to take a picture of me

Very cute and fun, but also very short cat game. Took about 4.5h to beat, 6h total to 100%. I recommend buying at 40% off.
Some criticism:
- While animations are great, movement is very clunky. It felt the exact opposite of being a dexterous, nimble cat. It felt more like I'm controlling a mechanical cat who desperately needs its gears re-lubricated.
- Jumping requires holding the button, which shows a jumping curve indicator. It would make sense to be able to move the indicator with mouse (as the camera is locked during this anyways), but it can only be moved with WASD which is slow and inaccurate. Also, changing directions (left/right) makes it overshoot. There's no way to cancel jumping. For long jumps you have to stop, hold the jump, aim far, then release (2-3s for each long jump). If you just run and jump the cat just does a little hop.
- An option to prevent dropping down from ledges would have been good. Would have made turning around on narrow ledges doable.
- Running into a wall makes the cat crash into it, instead of just stopping. This can be pretty annoying after a while, because it's very easy to bonk into obstacles by accident. This also happens with some small ledges, where you'd expect the cat to just climb onto them.
- Turning while running makes the cat slow down speed up, every time you turn even just a tiny bit.
- The city is filled with puddles that you have to avoid. Personally I think they add nothing of value to the gameplay, they're just annoyances that you have to go around. It would have been awesome to get an upgrade, like cat-shoes, to allow walking on puddles.
- Switching between dialogue options is hardcoded to the arrow keys.
- In a few spots there's consistent heavy stutter when moving the camera.

I definitely can recommend this game for any cozy/ adventurous gamer! It’s really a mix of both, since there’s always something new to find but you can also sit back and relax for a lil. I was able to perfectly finish this game and I’m so happy I did. Uncomplicated achievements, the hidden ones were a great suprise and finding them out were fun ( mostly the toilet one) sorry for spoiler ^0^ The only task I had issues with was recycling 100 cans, but it was also a relief to finally be able to knock out some people after having to stand still all the time to get them to take pictures of me. I‘m also very happy that they didn’t make it hard to get cute hats. Giving us the option to buy some with shinies really took some work from us to look for all. So many cute ones to pick from as well, I wish I could wear them all at the same time :,) bunny one is the best in my opinion <3

A cute, fun, and relaxing short game. The only downsides I can think of are that movement can be a bit janky sometimes and how annoying some of the obstacles are (puddles in particular).

This is one of the best "cozy games" I've played. Most games in the genre are bogged down by tedious busywork like farming, but Little Kitty Big City is all about exploration and discovery. You play as a cat who fell out of the window and has to find its way back home. As you explore the streets, you meet other animals who either offer to help you or ask for your help, giving you some quests to solve.
The visuals are very charming, low poly and with flat textures, but a lot of detail that gives the city a distinct identity. It's supposed to be a Japanese city district, and very much feels that way. There's a lot of verticality and you get to jump and climb to many rooftops - including your own home, which is located at the upper floor of a tall apartment building. Going home isn't quite so easy, though, as you lack the strength to climb long distances initially and have to increase your stamina by collecting and eating fish first.
The core gameplay consists of figuring out what you need to progress, looking for places where you can find it, and then figuring out how to get there. There are many locations you can see from afar but it's not obvious how to get there, and the city's design is very interconnected so you keep discovering surprising shortcuts that make getting to where you want to go easier. Finally making it to a place you've been wondering how to get to feels great, and the side quests motivate you to keep exploring every nook and cranny.
My only complaint would be that the title is a bit of a misnomer - you do play as a little kitty, but the city you explore is anything but big. It took me about 6 hours to explore it fully and finish every side quest. But when my only complaint is that there could have been more content, that should say a lot: I thoroughly enjoyed the game and wish there would have been even more to explore.
It's a very charming, relaxing, and enjoyable little game entirely focused on exploring beautiful environments with a decent amount of platforming challenge. If you like exploration, I can 100% recommend this to you.

Recommended purchase when it is on sale.
I recently bought it and played it as it looked fun, like a less dystopian Stray. It was fun. I had to dumb the graphics down and drop the resolution to get it to run on my laptop, but that is to be expected given my specs and I am glad I was able to get it to run. Controller recommended.
The gameplay is fun, characters are funny, and plenty of quests (albeit easy). The game was rather short, though there are collectibles and achievements to hunt after completing the main game. I do not remember the soundtrack, which means it was not bad, but probably not great either. The hats are cute, and so are the emotes. Knocking things off of ledges is fun, I see why my cat does this now.
As stated at the beginning, I recommend this when it is on sale, it is pretty light for the full price. I am happy with the game at the price that I paid. I might go back and do more exploring, but maybe not.
Edit to add: I did in fact go back and complete everything and explore. I had missed a few side quests. The game is quite fun. As for the soundtrack, this time I paid attention, its a very relaxing style BGM which is why I probably didn't notice it the first time. Still recommend the purchase. It took 2 hours to complete the main quest and 7 hours to 100% on a completely blind playthrough.
