This game is nice, fun, not too hard, but not terribly memorable either. The character designs are very cute, fun and memorable. I love the idea of the different clubs functioning as "houses" and the protagonist having to rewind time to join each one. I love Broccoli Girl - her design is so silly and adorable! I wish the game had given her a better resolution in the main story. My poor veggie girl just doesn't get as much focus as I like.
Anyway, this game is a (very) simplified Majora's Mask. Explore the map, talk to the characters and give them the item they are looking for. Rewind and do it again with new characters at the next club to progress. There is a notebook that keeps track of your quests and characters that you've talked to and their social media will give you hints about what they're interested in if you get stuck.
Some of the writing is funny but none of the characters are given enough depth to allow you to have more than a superficial attachment to them, and the combat is fairly basic. Still, the pixel graphics are cute and the anime portraits really lovely and well-drawn.
If you're looking for a simple action RPG and you like goofy, quirky stories, there's lots to like here!
P.S. devs if there's ever a game about Broccoli Girl having to find true happiness I will play it!
