it needs some QoL fixes. i dont mind waiting, but the small queue size forces me to sit in the crafting menu clicking every 2 seconds for Every. Single. Item. maybe theres a way to automate this further in the game. regardless, it needs to come sooner.

Very fun game, albeit very frustrating at times. The story and setting is amazing, but the game keeps the player bogged down in unfun busywork and upkeep, and squeezing the user for certain limited resources. The construction and "factory" part of the game works really well, but a little bit more quality of life tweaks would've been nice. Doing all the busy work ends up taking a lot of time, and this detracts from the enjoyment of the cool world, the setting and keeps the player from properly exploring the bigger world around.

I like it, but more for the story than the mechanics. The factory/automation elements are a little rough around the edges and poorly balanced toward the end (you can tell there was a rush to 1.0), but the overall gameplay is charming. Expect something in the 20-25 hour range.

I was very interested in this game, as I've just started developing in interest in "automation" or asset management type games. Gave it a try, and while the beginning is a little tricky, eventually, you start to get the hang of things. The art style is really nice, controls are easy to understand. However, after a few hours, I've just hit a dead end, both in interest and enjoyment. You find out somewhat quickly, that some systems in this game, are very frustrating to work with, something as simple as the light bulbs and power lines to be able to explore more. Unfortunately, this could've been designed to be alot easier, so as to allow the player to expand at an easier pace. Your constantly struggling with expanding the resource area, and the lights either not working, running out of power (even with power automation, then you'll die by shadow), or power lines just being stretched too far without moving the game forward. Automatic resource collecting becomes a cluster#*&% because there's no way to automate actually USING the resources as they continuously are collected and even if they are, the resources are collected so fast, you end up just sitting around waiting for the crafting to finish, so all the supply lines just come to a halt because either your storage fills up, or the collector fills up, then nothing happens. There's just too many places where things just grind to a stop, instead of being fluid, and allowing you to make other moves, while other things are going on. The limited "life" timer is stupid, it was really annoying to be way out on a scouting run, only to have the timer show up, you drop dead 10 seconds later, then have to walk ALL the way back to where you were to continue. Why can't you just turn this aspect, off? Overall, there's alot of great aspects to Atrio, but, I just gave up on it. I doubt any of the things I mentioned will ever get changed, so, that's that.

I've had this game for a while in my library. I like automation games, but this one is more like a semi-automation game since a lot of stuff you just can't seemingly automate. Besides, the automation stuff is just really clunky overall. Plus, the game literally has only like a single joke and for the now 8 hours I've played, they've made it constantly.
