I don't think this game is for beginners, more like for intermediate chess players. I would recommend playing this game after trying other games from this series (Mate in one, Mate in two, Mate in three or Mate in four).
PROS
- Simple to play
- A good game for your memory
- Beautiful designed chess board
- 150 different puzzles
- Promoting chess on Steam
- Relaxing music
CONS
- If you press multiple times and quickly enough the "start" button, it gives you the first move that you need to do.
- There are some puzzles that have mistakes. This problem is known, but no measures were taken.
- There is no reset button
- You can do impossible moves
- We can't see the final position after completing the puzzle (it jumps to the next level).
Difficulty 8/10. It took me around 50 minutes to finish the game. 8/10 for this game.

Another great addition to the fantastic series of Zen Chess games, this time taking us to the well-known blind chess technique and challenging our knowledge of this game once again, plus the need to exercise our memory to the maximum. Excellent challenge for the players of this ancient game.

This is a nice mental exercise that can be satisfying. It has been years since I have competed in the US chess federation and I have no interest in going back. But I would like to hold on to my chess knowledge in some way. This game helps me do that. If I take the time and exert the discipline, I can commit the entire board to memory before engaging in blindfold play. I find that the more time I spend in memorizing the board, the less time it takes me to process a solution. I can hold on to my chess thanks to this developer.

Innovative addition to Zen Chess series. It started with mate in one puzzles and expanded to mate in 2, 3 and 4. This one adds extra challenge with blindfold chess, which persuades players to excel on their mental skills. This makes the complete Zen Chess series a must for chess fans.

I didn't mind the previous titles from the Zen series having no steam cloud support, but given how hard blindfold chess can be not having steam cloud for this game is just poor game design and tells exactly how much the developers actually care about their games (not to mention the plethora of puzzles with negative elo moves and the outright broken puzzles).
If you value your pennies don't waste them here

I can't even define how it's bad - some positions could never exists, others "solutions" ignore obvious counters and opposite pieces, some miss some pieces, some have no solutions at all, some assumed that opposite side will cooperate to get checkmated. Phhhh

No.
Many boards just do not make sense, why black would move so badly not even a new player would make those misstakes.
It distracts you massively that black just move the wrong pieces on many boards.
(like not taking the undefended queen that is threatening the black king from the closest square and that would make white loose so hard.
Just no on this one.

Beautiful minimalist chess game, which challenges you not only solve the level but tests your memory capacity as well. It is challenging at start but, when you realize how to play, the experience is very immersive. Relaxing soundtrack, a trademark of Zen Chess series, makes a great overall experience. You must give it a try!

Very interesting game, developing my game vision several times, the game is challenging and it was a new experience for me to play without seeing the board, this requires a completely different skill than just playing, it requires that you have full control of the board and this improves in their ability to locate and carry out strategies.

The game simulates the challenge of the blindfolded chess game. The game is very challenging, testing your memory and reasoning to win the game without seeing the location of the pieces after the start.
