Florence Reviews
Florence Yeoh feels a little... stuck. Her life is an endless routine of work, sleep, and spending too much time on social media. Then one day, she meets a cello player named Krish who changes everything about how she sees the world and herself.

I put off playing this game for a while, but I think I played it when I needed it most. It's short and quick, and more of an interactive experience. The story is ordinary, but when you're going through something that feels so similar, it really makes you feel like you aren't alone. Playing made me feel a bit softer and a more honest with myself and how I'm feeling; I could see a reflection of myself. The music and the artwork is amazing. The puzzles are pretty easy, you don't have to think as you play, but I feel like that's to keep you immersed in the story itself. The clocks and chapter 18 hit me really hard - as heartbreaking as it is, sometimes you do have to just let go. Watching that felt cathartic. While I currently feel like I'm still stuck on my own fragments, I hope I get the ending that Florence did.

to call this beautiful yet short game anything less than art would be a lie. This games masterful use of simple mini games tied in with the art and the stunning music truly creates a master piece that i go back to every time i long for a feeling of peace, or just want to enjoy a rainy day inside. its shortness is one of its strengths as it tells such a beautiful story in such a short amount of time. I have recommended this game to anyone who will listen and I am so glad i found it and its beautiful sound track.

Short, sweet, and beautifully told.
The story feels simple but real , easy to relate to, and it had me reflecting on my own experiences. The art style and music fit perfectly, and the interactive moments are just enough to keep you engaged without breaking the flow.
It’s the kind of game you play once for yourself, then maybe again to share with someone else for their first time. Definitely worth the 30–45 minutes.
Thank you so much for such a nice experience. Loved the butterfly painting! <3

A short and sweet game about love and relationships. The gameplay is unique, and requires you to figure it out as you go. Florence is a masterclass of telling a story through innovative gameplay.

I genuinely started to cry on my second time playing this game. It hits harder after going through my own journey. This game is beautiful and the score continues to have a home on my playlist. I highly recommend trying this game, even just once.

☆ Gameplay & mechanics: 3.8/5
The puzzle is quiet simple and very easy to play.
☆ Art style and audio: 4.5/5
The game animated and music is really beautiful
☆ Storyline: 3.5/5
The storyline is easy to predict. I wish it would be more at the end but it end really quickly
☆ Overall: 3.9/5
The game feels like the scent of fresh cookies that brightens your mood on a boring afternoon. It’s soft, simple, yet very comforting. However, I wish it would be more and I think the ending could have been better.
It only took me about 1 hour to finish and get all the achievements. Because of that, I would recommend to only get the game when it on sale.

Pros:
- Simple, easy to understand and charming art style with pop of colour.
- Story about young adolescence finding romance and growing up. Girl moving on from a break up and has the meaning that it eventually gets better.
- Expressive of real life situations (i.e. constructing bubbles for conversations, work, going through the past, boring job, falling in love and then, bam, no more, etc.)
- Captures good and bad moments.
- Good to get you emotional.
Cons:
- Some parts feel rushed while others are perfect.
The getting over the break up SHOULD have been longer because when you choose to live with someone and see them EVERY DAY, that SHOULD affect you more than if you were just dating them. It's like they were married without the actual 'marriage'. Moreover, when she starts to draw/paint (I interpreted it as moving on), it's not steady or an up-and-down wave (as I feel like it would be in a real life context), just immediately just paints day and night without much of 'a bad day' or hesitance or anything which I felt like it should have been the case if she's LITERALLY lived with him and done a bunch of activities with him. While most of the game is VERY GOOD and gets you emotional, the ending seems too... perfect.
Overall good game, ending just rubbed me off the wrong way. 7/10.

Florence is not a game.
It’s an experience, a very short one.
Even so... in just 30 minutes, it manages to hit some very real, very soft parts of you.
You don’t get choices. You just live through it. And somehow, that resonates more.
The music? Subtle and emotional without saying a word.
The art? Simple, colorful, and sweet.
You can tell it was made with a lot of care.
I teared up. Not because it’s sad, but because it’s real.
The clock scenes hit me the hardest.
Went back for a second and third time for achievements and noticed little details that I wouldn’t have caught without replaying it.
Cute, little details that only show up if you’re really paying attention. Like life, I guess.
I got it discounted and for this price – less than 2 euros? 100% worth it.
Feels less like playing, and more like remembering something you didn’t know you forgot.
